  1. expectations of perfection and is there an acceptable amount of imperfection

If it looks perfect from 10 feet away - it's perfect.
  2. favorite vehicle wrap

Sounds like Avery 1005EZ would work well for you. We don't do a ton of wraps anymore but we have hundreds of vehicles/trailers floating around and most were done with 1005 with very few issues. Very user friendly vinyl in my opinion.
  3. Laminated graphics for customer install

clear mask can be problematic, I would use the cheapest stuff that works well at transferring the graphics. The medium-tack R tapes and Transfer Rite stuff works great on Orafol 3651 with any laminate I've ever used.(mostly Oracal, Kapco, and General Formulations). If I know a noob will be...
  4. Triple Boat Striping

Horrible how? points aren't quite matching up? vinyl is moving left or right? any decent plotter should be able to track 15'. See if your pinch rollers have tensioners that could be adjusted, maybe you have one side set to low, or high. A little more info would help.

  9. wrap question

I would walleye fish every stinking day if I could. I fish Saginaw Bay, and both Bay De Nocs every chance I get, which is not nearly often enough. I really want to try Bay of Quinte one of these years.
  10. wrap question

Ok, Ok, take it easy. I now feel like I need to pre-qualify the use of the word 'awesome', but this boat is a '96 and spent every spring, summer, fall docked....dock rash is an understatement. I spent 15 to 20 hours doing surface prep to get it smooth and clean. Anyhow, I dug it out of it's...
  11. wrap question

You definately want to laminate, it will last much longer and install a little easier. I did my aluminum fishing boat last year, and it turned out awesome. Make sure it is spotless clean, wipe THOROUGHLY with isopropyl alcohol, then when you think it is clean wipe it down again. Start at the...

  18. Epson SC S50670 front heater issue with material

Static is the first thing that came to mind. If it were me, I would take a piece of laminated scrap vinyl and tape it to the clear until you can connect to the take-up. Good Luck.
  19. Contour cutting reflective!!HELP

If by light pointer you mean A.R.M.S then yes it will.(most of the time) Watch for the media buckling slightly while cutting, if it is your cuts will be off. Cut as slow as possible and a good blade is a must. Good Luck
  20. Loading Graphtec Software

I'm pretty sure your plotter should not be connected in any way to your PC while installing drivers, at least Graphtecs. Upon further review....see attached.
