  1. complex file...not sure I should even attempt it

Same here, most bottle and jars would be hot stamped in my case. And yes many of these were done for specific retailers for the first few sales pitch meetings.
  2. complex file...not sure I should even attempt it

We would run it in house the the closest representation of the finished product we could. I have done hundreds if not thousands of packaging mock ups from bottles to boxes, inserts and shipping materials for the cosmetics industry. To outsource for a prototype to get the exact process done as...
  3. The wall from hell. Save me

I had the same problem with a customer. My wall was very textured so that just made it worse. Ended up scuffing and priming everything to get anything to adhere along with a lot of heat.
  4. Reviews on the Mutoh 1324?

I too am running a 1324. But do agree with pjfm as the material loading procedure needs some reworking. Prints great and fast. I do use ColorCue and everything is spot on all the time.
  5. Old stuff in shop

Not really old but things you have kept with you thru the years. This fridge has been with me since 1993. It was bought by my grandfather new whenever that was, passed down to a resort as a bait fridge. I acquired it from them in early 93. At the time I was painting a 71 Challenger Panther...
  6. Steampunk Computer

I so have wanted to do this too, just no time yet. Can not wait for pics
  7. What are you doin all night?

After hours here, everyone leaves me alone. Its the only time I can actually work. Front doors locked, I go in the back, crank the tunes and crank out work. I have my old bands full stage amps, board and loudspeakers set up in my rear production for my listening pleasure after hours. Tonight's...
  8. Laptop Advice

I use a ASUS G75. GTX 670M, 16 GB RAM, i7 Quad and a SSD. Thing screams, but is rather large. I have been using the ASUS ROG series for about 4 years now, I try to get a new one every year and pass off the old on my kids or employees. I have never been happier than with these machines.
  9. Aventador wrapped in hundred dollar bills?

Ok, got it, and wow, nice job on the rendering. Very nice
  10. Aventador wrapped in hundred dollar bills?

Thanks, I was very lost there.
  11. Aventador wrapped in hundred dollar bills?

Do not get it. Am I supposed to have to sign up there to see your rendering? or am I supposed to click around aimlessly to try and find the pic of said car cause I sure can't find it. Maybe just post image of car instead of a link to nothing.
  12. Wrapulator Anyone ever heard of it/used it?

It is new. I use Bad Wrap stuff and just saw this come thru about 2 weeks ago. Android version might be out now to if not very soon. Looking fofward to that version to try it out. Otherwise I know nothing about it yet.
  13. Logos with "hidden messages"...

Never saw that either, now that I did I will forever look at it different.
  14. Wifi signal boosters

I have had good luck with Hawking Technology and their boosters, repeaters and antennas.
  15. Lettering for trucks and cars

    Thats awesome!!!!!!!!!
  16. Screw you 3M.

I foresaw the future, The new sign department.:omg2::doh::help
  17. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Bondo and hot glue to expensive. We like to use the backing paper off the wrap so we get the most bang for our buck here. Just keep folding it up till the void is semi flush.
  18. Screw you 3M.

So what happens when vehicle wraps is not enough for 3M? Since they plan to see such huge profit in the wrap industry how long do you think it will be till they start Original Signs? They have printers and a endless supply of material. If they profit and grow in one aspect of this...
  19. RTape AT60 not sticking to Oracal 651

I hate clear tape in all aspects of its being for this very reason. So I am no help as I never use it.
  20. Screw you 3M.

I did follow the other thread and I did see mentions of installers (as that info is listed on the OW site anyway, but not any of the printers (the information many of us here are looking for)). I will go back and re-read and do stand corrected if I overlooked this.
