For printing successfully with Eco-Solvent-Inks on Vinyl, you need something which warms up the media before bringing ink on the surface. Not shure that your printer have that.

A plotter of 18 years has a value of a few hundred bucks. A modern S-Class has functional advantages too ... even a modern SummaCut have functional advantages. A new Mutoh printer, by the way, cost much more than a new printhead too :smile:

No need to blame the LcLm-Printhead for every problem. There is a problem with color deviation too when printing long runs with full color with a higher number of passes. There must be a reason why HP uses now 2 Op-Heads, but still 1 Light head only, with the new 500.
