i have been using tablets for years but when i went duel screen the love affair ended. currently a 12x9 intruos, but over two screen I cant get used to the pen as i did over one screen. Mouse fine.
i haven't tried all the modes yet.
possibly the best i ever had was in the dos days a A3 tablet...
hi all the carts for resin ribbons have roland on them but the ribbon may be a refill.
spot colour fades are the worst print area for the pc60 because of the narrow ribbon reducing the output dpi helps as does oem ribbons. the feed compensation should be 0.
you may like to try photo mode...
also make sure he owns them and they are not still under lease or hp.
i nearly bought a big laser the other day until i asked,
something not right though

graphtec do a felt strip for die cutting so you can cut through with out damage to the blade.
a strip of thicker clear vinyl over the strip makes savings and easy replacement.
woolly
that's sad.
if it was not used for a month then was moved in a van i would expect the ink line to have a lot of air in them then it would do as you described.
still looking for my book

i cant find the user manual on the net and i don't know what happened to mine, i don't think it was a pdf when i had it.
what do you hope to do with it.
as a cutter i still use my 10 year old jx every day its still superb
as a printer it has not printed anything for 7 years since the day i...
guessing versa works has a min size for the eps file, not what it contains.
put a .4inch border around it, and i would expect it to print anything inside it.
in that case nest 2 graphics together to save vinyl.
woolly
who's right don't know bob i have pondered that may times.
what i can tell you is that the print distance alters with a change of media thickness.
printing 90 gsm paper for high accuracy boat manufacture drawings then on to a lexan type material twice as thick requires a different feed...
my preferred toy for this is my sc540ex but in high production mode i bring my graphtec fc7000 130 in to the production run.
one faced with similar problem but not quite that tight.
created a oblong 1000mm long and cut that the cut box was 1002 mm so reduced the cut path only by that ratio...
hi
have you measured the print is that the correct size. then measure the cut is that correct ?.
the fc feed calibration with condition is a very confusing
woolly
gentlemen, print and cut is not new i have been doing it for 12 years
the last 5 years with a sc540ex, to test the full system from design to finish.
in your favorite drawing package create a 1 inch square with the outline as a cutpath fill black. this rules out a poorly placed cut path
send...
the roland system is one of the best, if you cant do the adjustments then have a engineer do it. don't say it sucks fix it.
read my earlier post about 2 adjustments
sorry if a bit short its late here

with a clean waist bit of vinyl print with reg marks a 1 in sq the auto align to marks and cut the box.
it should cut down the edge of the print else calibrate the cut to reg marks.
woolly
there are two different adjustments for the cut alignment.
1/ print then cut is the one thats adjusted in the normal menu.
2/ cut to registration marks is in the service menu.
a quick but not sure fire way is to use the auto setup best to print the scale from the menu and set the distance...
hi the t head is just the job for the thicker stuff and you can have the drag knife as well.
t heads take all the strain away from doing thick materials and are worth it if that what you do.
for normal work you may find the t head a bit annoying then you can plug in the drag knife.
the best of...
