I'd like to weigh in on this as I think I've had a lot of experience w/ each model. At my last position we had an Edge FX and it printed good and fast, but it DID consistently have more errors and waste more material then the Edge 1 & 2 that we have here. Ours here (both the Edge 1 & 2)...

Restylers Choice should sell you the decal kit for that vehicle. Nobody is going to supply the files to you though.

I taped them up on the wall so they were flat, then shot them from a distance with the camera. then traced in Illustrator and scaled correctly once traced using a tape measure.

We used 3m 180c for this wrap. (and a lot of primer94, lol)

Another employee here is working on finding a 3rd party ink supplier to make some ink for it, apparently there are a lot of companies that will do that for a reasonable rate. I will reply here when we get the deal finalized, but it is not on our top priorities list at the moment so it'll be a...

I am not talking about producing actual physical pieces, I am talking about the 3D model files their selves. (from which one could theoretically print a physical piece)

Ours are all stored pretty similar to that (48" & + rolls) lining every available wall... Can't really think of an economical way to do it otherwise with material that large. Just have everyone be careful and they won't get knocked over, lol. I have seen some large "gun rack" style mounts for...

The only supplier that I use that has pieces remotely similar is Restylers Choice, maybe they can point you in the right direction? How many are you needing? Possibly someone could print these out on a 3D printer if they are a short run.

On ambulances and such where stainless and aluminum would otherwise come in contact most manufacturers use isolaters in-between/around the fasteners. (like nylon sleeves)

I have had great success in the past with the Siser Colorprint materials and the Edge. There are a few different materials depending on what the shirts are made from, and I always gave it a few extra seconds on the heat press just to be sure.

Maybe Indoors they would last that long, not out in the sun. I don't like to take chances; we laminate everything that is printed.

Are you using Onyx? If so, I think you can just lie in the rip and tell it that the media is 54" and left-justify it? Also, it might not hurt to try putting on some other roll of a different width and checking the results. And lastly, turn the machine all the way off and unplug it and plug it...
