  1. Problem with application tape

It's high tack tape...and clear tapes always seem more aggressive. Try the AT60 if you need clear.
  2. 3M IJ-180 High Quality Profile

Probably should specify what machine and what RIP you use.
  3. Anyone have optimum settings for cutting small detailed type

For HP vinyl (like 751) my plotter Force setting as 14. Blade just barely sticks out of the holder. Like I said, when it's a fresh blade ( I have been buying Clean Cut blades), it works the best. I am sure if I tried any 1/8" text right now (blade is probably 3 months old) I would have some...
  4. Issue with HP360 and Flexi Production Manager

Sounds to me like you have power management settings set to sleep or hibernate after a certain amount of time (probably the hard drive). Turn all of those settings to OFF for any RIP station.
  5. Anyone have optimum settings for cutting small detailed type

I can get 1/8" tall with a fresh 45 blade, if cutting something like Helvetica. Have even gotten smaller than that. Don't recommend for a ton of text, but small stuff is possible.
  6. HP 310 Printing greys with a green hue

What parts are they replacing to fix poor color management? That is usually the reason for greenish greys, or orangish reds, or purple blues. You need correct profiles for the media you are running, as well as correct color settings in your files. I never had good reds or greys UNTIL using HP...
  7. Roland Soljet PROIII Print & Cut XC-540 - VALUE?

Would like to know this as well. Have a SC545EX we need to get rid of. Probably needs all new heads now, been sitting a while. Needed 2 last time we tried to run it.
  8. removing scratches from oracal 210 gloss

And since we can see what the end product is why in the world are you using 210? This looks like something they want to last a long time. I would have at least used 290. What vinyl is this?
  9. removing scratches from oracal 210 gloss

It should, but it doesn't. I mean, I see glare and what looks like scratches, but it's too far away.
  10. removing scratches from oracal 210 gloss

Are you talking surface scratches or gouges? If light scratches, Novus might help. Have never tried it, but PVC laminate is a plastic, so give it a shot. If it's gouges, nothing will fix that except replacing the prints.
  11. Mobile Decal Business

Just about any website host has some sort of e-commerce setup....usually plug and play. If yours doesn't check around with other hosts.
  12. FlexiSign ICC Profile for Roland SC-500

Profile for what material? Vinyl? Banner? There are multitudes of profiles.
  13. Mobile Decal Business

Allow me to refer you to this thread.... http://www.signs101.com/forums/showthread.php?135255-Looking-for-input-regarding-going-100-mobile-no-brick-and-mortar&p=1306834#post1306834 This will save a lot of redundancy of opinions. Must be a fever going round....
  14. LOOKING FOR chrome on one side but can see through the other material

Maybe laminate the above mentioned film to a sheet of clear polycarbonate, then cut out of the sheet?
  15. Moving Truck Decals

WOW....you guys are cheap. If it's 350 s.f. of vinyl we'd be at LEAST $1750 per truck.
  16. Roll decals

I just tell customers we don't provide a continuous roll, only strips, sheets or individuals. If they want a roll, they have to wait 7-10 working days then I sub them out. Anything over about 1000 I sub out anyway.
  17. Font ID help

Does this boat belong to a Gastroenterologist? Or a Dentist? :Big Laugh
  18. Importing Multi-page PDFs

    Don't use CorelDraw.
  19. Importing Multi-page PDFs

That's what I do basically (see above).
