easy to do in Illustrator! 1- Place your photo. 2- create a rectangle to cover the area you want to fade. 3- fill rectangle with a white/black gradient fill with the white on the outside edge. 4- select just the gradient rectangle and set the blending mode to screen.

If the blade isn't pointing in the direction it's starting then it will spin to go that way. You can put a small extra cut line somewhere in the scrap to direct the blade how you want.

new usb-serial cable solved the problem. It came with proper driver for the port and works fine now. thanks

Not sure if this problem is from the plotter(GS15plus), the software(SignLab8), or the computer(hp media center PC w/4g ram). here's what happens, I have a file set up for print and cut 6 small decals with a contour cut. I open it in SignLab, hit Print/cut, go to Visual Production Manager...

I'm using SignLab 8 and I get an Invalid foil message when I try to print. I made abrasion guard a finish coat and selected it as a flood coat. there must be some setting I haven't done, But I can't find it Any Ideas? thanks

Got it! needed usb/serial driver installed.

This gs15+ has the usb adapter attached to cable. I'm running Signlab 8. Which port should the plotter be set to? thanks

Can I have "7.1 vinyl pro" and "8.0 print and cut" installed separately on the same computer? I don't want to interfere with the 7.1 if it's not going to work. Have separate dongles for both as well. I would like to keep my 7.1 cutting with my Roland plotter in the mean time while I'm setting up...

Here's the finished wall. I used mactac wall mask and sprayed it with benjamin moore latex. That way I'll never wonder if it's gonna stick and I could have the exact green the customer wanted.
