I'm pretty sure I got the info from one of the members here, but I dont know who to credit. We have a horrid POS Master laminator which we cursed on a daily basis until someone gave us these tips.
We release all tension from the rollers and manually adjust so that we "feel" they're equal...
Everybody seems to be pushing you on the right track. I'm not a fan of the Dell branded boxes for my own reasons (which aren't up for debate... a la thread highjack), but it's what's inside that counts.
You might want to check in with your IT guy, though. If you've trusted him for 8 years on...
Update....
I thought it was just the colours, but upon closer inspection it looks like Flexi goofs up the outlines of some objects too. Gradients are especially bad :P
Corel X3 and Flexi 7.6v2.
Good day all,
I'm sure this will be a relatively easy question for some of our veterans, but it has me baffled. When I get an .EPS from another designer I occasionally run into colour variances depending on what program I open it with. Generally, it looks great if I import it into Corel, but...

Not to highjack, but when I built my design rig all of my research indicated that a high performance CRT would give much purer colours over a comparable LCD. Has the LCD technology caught up where they are perferred and/or just fine for exclusive graphic use?
I'm kinda late coming into the thread, but I would have voted the new machine. There may have been some small hardware changes I would have recommended but nothing that would make or break your experience with your new rig. Best of luck with your testing. :)
Please note that all of my advice will be based on an extremely limited amount of experience compared to other members here....
We happen to be using the same Printer/Software and have ran into that issue on occasion as well. The remedy I am accustomed to is leaving Flexi open on it's...
I don't know if this information will be too late for the thread originator... Or of any value for that matter. Microsoft is releasing their "Windows Home Server" this fall which looks like a promising solution for what your trying to accomplish. They advertise taking any stripped down basic...
As I recall, there was an elaborate keystroke combination required to enter service mode which is required to drop the capping station so you can move the carriage to be able to get at everything. Or can this be manipulated with the cover sensor?
I'll go have another look for my instructions...
You'd be best off calling your dealer. If they're not around maybe try the place you got your dampers and pump from. It's not a difficult job but they can offer insights and things to watch out for and check for that aren't covered in the instructions.
I checked around but I'm not sure what...
We don't have any issue on any of our widescreens... It looks "proper", but do you know if you're running native resolution for your monitor? I've never seen that before, myself.
We had that same issue not too long ago that returned to plague us quite a few times. It was eliminated when we changed out some dampers and pump but decided it would be a good idea to change all the other inexpensive serviceable parts while we were in there.
Next time I see it I'll check...
Thanks for taking the time, but I had already done up the file myself. Yes, the vector did go smooth, but I was hoping to have the font for future reference as well.
Thanks again!
