the company has been in business since 1964
it started with just silk screening and dye/sealed alum nameplates
it has changed owners and branched out to the digital world in 2000
and i started working here in 1990 as the graphic artist
back when we still used old fashion paste ups, cameras and...
if you could find us a 48" or 60" shear we might part with one of the old ones
sorry we pretty much use all 3 of them and i have one in the digital print area
so i don't have to keep walking in the back..i get tired..haha

here are some pics of our new place
it's in garfield, nj
the digital print area
and my new shower i had them put in for those late nights when i can't get home (it's just like in jail minus the guy with the soap on a rope tied to his ankle...could you pick that up for me sonny...aaaaahhh!)
that is what we would have liked to do but couldn't find anything for sale that we could afford and met all our requirements...but we did look into it
and i am loading the pics now
we just moved again...aaahhh!! it really sucked (just like it did the last 2 times)
but we are in our new place approx 14,000sqft
and we are now fully operational after a 3 week moving process
i will get some picks up
nice place the landlord basically re-did the place for us
new offices, all new...
roland vp540 is not cutting properly
it will cut 90-95% of the piece/job ok but i get spots where it looks like it is a perf cut
it looks like the blade is skipping or jumping for some reason
i put in a new blade
made sure everything was locked into place and no good
anyone have any ideas?
thanks
done some stuff for friends but have never been asked by a paying customer
but i would probably do it
not sure how it is really a reflection on your beliefs
it's just a job
do you make campaign signs for political people that you don't support?
or banners, sticker, labels etc. for groups or...
i heard the rumor also but no specs where offered in this rumor
we have been happy with their print cut machines
let's see what they could do in the flatbed market
pretty much like Dan said
in the beginning fresh out of art school and just worked as a graphic artist
now all the other requirements of my position have gotten me away from a lot of the artistic end
i have done it
not the best but i haven't gotten any complaints...yet
customer didn't want to spend the money for the correct material
just let the customer know the possibility that it may tunnel and get brittle and put in writing that you are not responsible if that happens
if that's the case i would think your best bet is inkjet (printer cutter combo)
and a laminator
i also wouldn't go 30" if you can afford it go 54" minimum
(we got the 30 first and like 6 months later we ended up buying the 54)
i think it was said before but the inkjet gives you the widest array...
