  1. Getting some business cards printed, What to put on them? Show me yours!

Well, since you're getting technical, it's actually a 2" x 3.5" card, at least in most scenarios.
  2. custom stamps, self inking or otherwise

We use Rubber Stamp Champ at rubberstampchamp.com. They have great quality, prices, and service.
  3. What adhesive to use?

    Buuump....
  4. Speaking of building things...

Very nice, Joe! :) Don't get too comfortable or you might never leave it.
  5. What adhesive to use?

I'm looking for an adhesive, most likely a spray adhesive, to apply poly-styrene signs to plastic seed hoppers like the one pictured on the link. http://www.bulkcontainerexpress.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/DGH_angle_up_main.jpg Any body have any idea what might be the ideal adhesive for this...
  6. Crack and peel decals source?

I prefer Gill Line over Stouse.
  7. Papyrus be gone

Here are some great Papyrus alternatives that I found...
  8. Papyrus be gone

I like Papyrus much better than Wheat. Papyrus has style and class. As was mentioned, Wheat looks like a free font designed by an amateur with little thought given beyond the distress itself.
  9. Looking for a good straight edge cutter

We use the Mondo cutter and I was worried about the price as well when we purchased it. However, after using it for about 4 months or better now, I really like it. In my opinion it's a great tool for it's price point.
  10. I will never understand how the law works...

Wow. What a bad deal. I know nothing about restoring cars, but even to my untrained eye his work looks shoddy. Good for you for taking what action you can against him.
  11. Screen printing flyer

Oh yeah. And I just realized I completely forgot to include the City, State, and zip. DOH! Oh well, at least it's my own project and not a client's. I'll have to fix that first thing Monday when I get back to work.
  12. Screen printing flyer

I'm with you there. I don't like gimmicky stuff and "Prices as low as...Blah, blah" seems overused and gimmicky to me. As far as printing on the back goes, I'm thinking we will do another ad identical to this one on the back, but only for signs, banners, etc. instead.
  13. Screen printing flyer

What I'm kind of leaning toward is something like "MAKE AN IMPRESSION!" (uninspired, I know...sigh) as the main header copy and something like "with Screen Printed T-Shirts and Apparel from Simply Signs & Screenprinting". So this brings me to a question. Is it better to use a catch phrase that...
  14. Screen printing flyer

Well, we are in a small town but we are 14 miles from a major metropolitan area (Peoria, IL). Our plan is really just to hand them out, mail them out stuffed inside brochures, pin them up on local bulletin boards at area businesses and things like that. We actually did discuss windshields, but...
  15. Screen printing flyer

Excellent advice, and we do give away free t-shirts with our branding on them...koozies...hats...you name it, we give them away.
  16. Screen printing flyer

I'm working up a layout for a flyer we can pass out and post around the area. I like the layout I have, but what's bothering me is the copy. There is really nothing attention grabbing about it. I'm looking to see if anyone has any ideas about ways that I could word the ad that would have a bit...
  17. Font Help Please

Oh, I see. So it isn't Futura, but it is Futura. I'm sorry. Next time I'll be sure to research it extra thoroughly for you so you don't have to go to the extra trouble. ;)
  18. It's not even close to that time of year, but....

I like it. I'm not in love with the typeface for "I SURVIVED" but it's cool nonetheless. I like that you used oversized halftones. They look way better than typical 45 lpi halftones.
  19. Even more recent work!

Corel Draw is so easy to learn, Craig. If you watch the tutorial videos included with the package, like I did, you will be designing signs the same day. Great work, Dan. Always inspiring. I think you have found the perfect formula for wraps. They all have that Dan Antonelli signature style...
