  1. big squeegee help!!!!

Yes, it is far better for laminating than the cut vinyl tool from my experience. Don't ask me why, but it just is.

I'd be more upset that he didn't share any with me.
  3. Soccer font

Thank you. I think that will work just fine.
  4. Trailer wrap design opinions

I like the layout in general. The only things I would change is removing the black outline from the red lettering and also I would have tried "& CATERING" on the third panel. I just think the ampersand looks out of place on the second panel. Also, my eyes stay drawn to the red lettering...
  5. Company truck wrap design - Tear it apart!

I've bitten my tongue so many times through this thread I'm surprised I'm not bleeding yet. The nerve of some people astounds me.
  6. Soccer font

I'm having a heck of a time with this one. I thought it was the Porsche font, but it's not. I tried font matching sites and got close but no cigar. Anybody here have an idea? Thanks for the help.
  7. Custom Flags

Well, you could look into McArthur Towel. They do custom die sublimated polyester flags. They are not cheap, but neither is the quality. We did one for a local customer with the local high school team logo on it at, if I'm not mistaken, around $150.00+ retail. We figured the guy would turn...
  8. Heads up, Mr. Gonzalez is back...BEWARE!

We haven't been hit up for banners yet, but we've been hit up twice for screen printed t-shirts in the lest few months. Some guy named Lookman Cleverly and I can't remember what the other guy tried to call himself. It was at least something that sounded normal like Jones or Smith. Anyway...

  12. Vinyl signs out in the wind ? how do you cut air flaps ?

Oops! I don't know how, but I missed that part about EZ-Ups. Sorry for the unnecessary rant.
  13. Vinyl signs out in the wind ? how do you cut air flaps ?

What I don't get is that people will pay well over a couple hundred dollars for a nice banner to put outside and then they go and string it from two posts and let the wind beat it to shreds. I would never suggest wind slits in high wind areas. Rather, I suggest the customer buy some 1/2"...
  14. Whoa....................... this oughta be good.............................

We love Grimco and purchase about everything but our cut vinyl from them, since they don't sell Oracal, and that's really about the only bad thing I can say about them.
  15. SALT LIFE FONT TYPE ? any ideas...

Deadman font is close http://www.fonts.com/font/volcano-type/dea-dman/deadman-package I think you're looking for something along the lines of the Flying Dog Brewery labels, or the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas movie title. Deadman came up when I used those keywords to search, but not...
  16. Day/night back lit sign

Yep, these are the same cabinets I had posted about a few weeks back. We started with the idea of trying diffuser film to even out the lighting. We applied 30% diffuser to one of the faces and it worked perfectly to even out the hot spots from the flourescent tubes. Then we got the idea to...
  17. Day/night back lit sign

That image is in fact the sign lit at night. No Photoshop tricks added either.
  18. Day/night back lit sign

That halo effect is the way it looks at night. Yes, the image was reverse cut andreverse weeded from the blockout film and applied to the inside of the panel. The letters were adhered using Weldon acrylic adhesive applied under the preplaced letters with a seringe. Placement is easy over...
