Thank you for posting that! I guess honestly I haven't toyed around with either one long enough to know what I would miss, or need.. I've just always played in illustrator and now more serious about it...
I know it doesn't matter I was just saying.. I must have walked right by them on the shelf, or atleast my local Krogers/Wal-Mart doesn't seem to have those brands.. Geesh you guys are touchy!
I don't think any of those companies are in the US? They may be but dang they don't look like it, and I don't remember seeing them.. Atleast the ones I have seen.
Yeah... I mean he may just be dang excited about his new shop(which I would be if I had a shop like that), but he sure is advertising certain products there..
Whats the deal with Zoom Productions? Looks like they make productions for a variety of products...
Awesome shop... Talk about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ It's a small newbie like myselfs DREAM to have a shop like that. I'm sitting here in single small room shop..
I'm jealous!!!!!!!
I was just curious really in a innocent way.. I know they have to be somewhat similar, but it just looks like Illustrator is more advanced, and has more features as per fact.
Is it a fact is has more features, or ?
I'm reading the other suggested thread now! I'm new here so I didn't know it...
You'll be much better off using offset path if your cutting vinyl vs printing it.. Why you ask? When you do offset path, and ungroup the outline you have a full backing.. When you do outline stroke it only gives you the stroke of the outline where the "inside" is hollow basically.
Basically...
Which do you use? Why?
Does one have something the other doesn't?
I'm really, really curious of this...
It really seems like it to me that Illustrator has a lot more features..
I'd say you just need a correct icc profile for your printer..
http://www.mutoh.be/download-support-information/profiles/page.aspx/2310
seems to have profiles, but you have to create an account to access that area..
Also, you may be able to get the profile directly from FlexiSign if you log...
Awwwwwww! Congratulations! I just sit here and smiled as I seen the youngins playing with the box! I can't wait until I get a printer like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someday!
