Last year we picked up some Chirstmas work. Basically making yard decorations out of coro and cut vinyl.
Does anyone else do anything like this? We have a couple of neighborhoods that go all out with decorations. So much so that they start now to do their decorations.
Is anyone else doing...
I don't do a lot of window installs with perf vinyl and when I do I have a lot of trouble getting it started.
Here are some thoughts that I have since I have a new one I need to do that is about 6 feet wide and 4 feet high.
I am planning on making the cut about 1/8 inch smaller on each...
we have the bosox, it just didnt look pointy enough. the saloon girl had rounded edges on the centerpoints. If we have to we will modify the bosox since we are only doing numbers and not names.
we fire high maitenance customers unless they are either or both of high margin or high volume with large gross profit dollars. the others are shown the door.
that's what i say. we started on garments in jan with shirt prices up almost 50%. we upped our prices on just about everything but our annual repeat stuff is comming in PLUS referrals from them.
it is not that we have more orders per week (there are slight increments) but the individual...
bogged down with work in a 2 person shop. got the parents and kids all working (they can't do anything without monitoring)
just dog @$$ tired.
not a rant, just need sleep. holy cow. oh, need to hire someone or two at this point.
need a :corndog: or :corndog::corndog: to keep the energy up.
sorry about leaving this off, they were retail sales, not wholesale.
just to be clear overall though, we ordered the 6 blanks finished from the local sign supply house but the other order we got a 75 yard roll and did it ourselves in a couple of hours.
yeah. blank as in nothing on them. they were going to put their own stuff on the first set, cardstock type of announcements. the second was going to be used as a partition.
I have had a couple of orders this year for blank banners. One was hems and grommets, six 4x8's, the other just hems and was 23 of various sizes that ran off about 66 yards of 6' wide material.
So for blank banners, what % off my my normal price would be reasonable here? I did discount them...
He has an artist that will draw his design in sharpie pens. Afterwards he wants it installed on his storefront window.
Can something like that be laminated? Should it be laminated?
Should I install it and have the artist draw on it installed?
