  1. White Metallic Wrap film?

What laminate did you use? Was it the Mactac 6398, or the R-tape patterned overlaminate, or was it something different? I remember walking by an R-tape booth and seeing that they had such a product, but I didn't stop and take a closer look. Now that I want to try something on an upcoming...

I just got through dealing with a project involving a sports team (da BEARS), We got permission from them to do the project. It was actually easier than I thought it would be to get a hold of someone. I assumed the bigger the organization the more of a pain it would be. Lucky I was wrong...
  3. White Metallic Wrap film?

We don't like to outsource printing, unless it's for larger quantities of coroplast signs, We'd prefer to print things like wraps in house, where we have more control over the results, and can quickly remedy any mess ups on our part. Plus it's just more cost effective. If it doesn't exist, we...
  4. White Metallic Wrap film?

Does anyone know if there is a printable WHITE metallic Wrap film out there. Preferably high performance cast. I know there is metallic overlaminates, but that isn't what I'm after. I trying to find something that is like silver metallic, but much, much lighter, so when we print on it the...
  5. To www or not to www...

My thought about advertising web addresses to lowest common denominator is this: It is very rare this day and age that a person doesn't know that "sitename.com" is a web address, even if it doesn't have the "www". My guess is the extremely small percentage of people that can't figure out that...
  6. To www or not to www...

I lean towards leave it off. You don't need to type it in most of the time, plus if there is a .com, .net, etc., it is a given that a "www." would be included.
  7. Another Logo "Ripoff" controversy

In THIS case, If it were just dancers in a circle you would have a point, but the way they are illustrated... the colors... There are just too many similarities going on there. Could it just be coincidence? maybe, but I think it is more likely that the one design heavily influenced the other...
  8. Another Logo "Ripoff" controversy

Legal or not, at that level, a logo for an event such as the Olympics should be more unique. With the amount of money the firm that designed that logo probably got, you would at least think they could have spent more of their time and resources creating their own ideas.
  9. CMYK and pantone colors displaying as rgb in coreldraw

It's not that one program is more of a pain then the other. That is a matter of perspective. They are all just different systems that handle things like gradients, drop shadows, colors, etc... in different ways. If you use Flexi as your primary software you might think it's a pain to open...

I can't ever see GG's attachments. I don't know what the problem is.

It doesn't have the best flow, but there are a few things you could do to improve this. 1: Like sardocs pointed out flip the globe around. 2: On the globe, keep the water blue like you have it but make the land green instead of brown to tie into the green color on the rest of the layout...
  13. Attempt at my logo

No, Don't do that. You can't read it. First of all you shouldn't crowd text together like that if you expect others to read it, and 2nd of all, never put text over top of other text, especially if that background text is a major part of the message.
  14. Bumper Sticker Printers?

I haven't done the math, but I would guess that collecting unemployment might be more profitable. Besides, His other option isn't just sitting at home watching tv. A better option would be making more money doing something different. "you can consider the labor to be free" It's basic...
  15. Bumper Sticker Printers?

Is it really? You are focusing on material, but I would say time is much more valuable. While he is spending his time working on those bumper stickers, he isn't spending it on other, I would argue, more profitable endeavorers. The other thing you aren't taking into consideration is that the...
  16. Bumper Sticker Printers?

Wait, let me get this straight? You want to create hundreds or thousands of designs that you aren't sure will sell yet? Let's say on average it takes 15 minutes to do a simple design. multiply that by 100, you've got 25 hours. Now lets say you want to get $50 an hour for design time (and...
  17. Our new website is up and running!

Thanks for the get, That is the javascript that replaces my headers fonts with a custom font. I'm not sure why it is giving that error, as it is a generated script, but the javascript is working properly on explorer 8 and pretty much all other commonly used browsers, if by chance it didn't the...

Yeah, I've got some more plans for the part that says "menu will go here".
  19. Our new website is up and running!

As you know, there is no way I can build a site that everyone will think is the ideal type of site. It's different strokes for different folks. There are also a lot of people out there that don't like scrolling down an extremely long(or tall) website to see pictures. They would much rather...

Okay, I made a different galley page for just the logos so far. It's not 100% but I wanted to see what others thought before I put too much more work into it. Does this work better then the falling blocks for those of you that didn't like the blocks? http://diazmedia.net/logo_design/gallery.html
