  2. Question Anyone selling HP L25500? Anyone purchased HP L25500?

The one in the lab at school was removed. Tech came out said no way to fix it. IIRC they are no longer supported.
  3. Printer options

I still run my SP540V. Built like a tank and runs about as fast. LOL She's a runner though. Last summer I used it to knock out pieces for 12 shuttle buses, 2 full van wraps, box trucks, boom trucks etc. In a short span of time I printed 6 full rolls of wrap media. Then there was all the...
  4. Need Help 2019 Jeep Cherokee Hood Decal Template

Looks pretty basic unless I'm missing something. Could knock that out with Knifeless tape.
  5. How Concerned should I be about Gassing Out a print?

Shortest time I wait is two hours with no issues. I try my best to schedule print days and laminate/trimming/contour cutting days to avoid the rush laminating.
  6. Suggestions New Printer, HP vs Epson

OP says he is the maintenance program. I would get the printer that I can go online to order any parts needed, and has a large support/info base for the DIY'er. Ease of repairing is important too. No one wants to spend a day digging into a machine to replace a consumable.
  7. Major Issues with HP Latex 310

This^^^ Had a similar issues many years ago. One letter from my attorney and whaddya know. A brand new printer overnight shipped from Taiwan.
  8. Trouble creating cutlines in Versaworks

RVW Swatches can be downloaded from Roland.
  9. Question Financing Options

Offering financing sounds like a lot of extra work and potential future complications. On the flip side it could enhance revenue. Gotta wonder what happens when someone buys ten wraps then "forgets" to pay.

    Great job on the rebuild.
  11. Printing problems

Might have bumped one of the ribbon cables. Make sure they're all seated and squared in the socket.
  12. Compensation for weekend work?

I was in a similar situation with a plumber. After he got my "special" weekend rate we did it during the week. Now here's the odd part of our business relationship. He would drive the van in the shop and roll down his window. I would hand him that days newspaper and an ice cold can of...
  13. Silent Air Compressor - Indoors

Wonder if the California Air Tools unit would be safe for my positive pressure respirator? Going to have to do some research.
  14. Need a super silent air compressor for garage

Ahhh...I see what you did there.
  15. How do you get chain stores as clients?

Ironic. The OP wants to break into corporate accounts and I get calls about corporate jobs that I don't want. Go figure.
  16. Transfer Media

Soft light feel on t-shirts ain't gonna happen with anything you print then cut. Only way to get the "hand" of screen printing is to screen print or DTG. Material I run through my Roland is Eco-Print from Imprintables I've been quite happy with it. Clients also understand what they are getting.
  17. Silent Air Compressor - Indoors

May want to look at this one: Eastwood QST-30/60 Quiet Scroll Air Compressor I'd like to try one myself, but my old two-stage still runs well.
  18. Is 19 years old finally too old for a DGI?

Interesting. I've never needed to cut past the pinch wheels. If you don't mind sharing what is the application?
  19. Removing used Liner from take up roll

Used to do that with a Genuine Papermaker knife. Worked OK, but the less you have to use any sharp hand held device the better. JMO.
  20. Removing used Liner from take up roll

I only tape the liner in one spot on the core. Makes it easier to remove. When it comes time to remove the liner I put the full core on the floor and spin counter-clockwise. Gives me enough gap to remove the core. Once in a while it doesn't cooperate, but not too often.
