  1. Font id please

I have that as Buckingham. But it was from a 1000 fonts CD so it may not be called that, I looked on myfonts and couldn't find it. Love....jill
  2. Font for truck lettering

I had a feeling that the echoing the window shape was a customer's idea. Want me to come down and beat him up for you?
  3. One of those days...

I have one of those days almost every day. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother. But then I get one of those rare golden days, where everything goes right and everything turns out the way it should, and I even get paid. That makes it all worth it. Love....Jill
  4. Font for truck lettering

They mean that it looks as if you need to learn some simple layout rules. Your copy is run straight to the edges, with way too much space between words. All I see is the huge hole in the center. A left-justified short bulleted list might look nicer, that or something like this GRASS CUTS •...
  5. layout critique please

Font for COMBAT SPORTS could be Duffle bag or Los Alamos something ballsy and condensed.
  6. layout critique please

No contrast. Move the guy higher up into the shield, move LEGION to the bottom and make it white with only one thick outline. Put COMBAT SPORTS under LEGION's arch, but not in that font and in plain black. Love....Jill
  7. Signmeup??????

He's probably just busy carvin' or karate-ing. Or some of the other cool things he gets up to. Love....Jill
  8. Having trouble with Grafix Advantage software

Depending on what # GA you have, it may not work beyond a WIN98SE. I still have mine up in the garage hooked to a IVB. Mine is GA6.2 Love.....Jill
  9. Just finishing up a new hospital in the area...

Nice and clean looking, easy to read. The sign person in me isn't thrilled about the kerning on the numbers but the easily lost in the hospital part of me appreciates the conciseness. Love....Jill
  10. The Contractor's Sign Pricing Guide

What I want to know is where did this "discount" mentality come from? Why should we feel that we have to offer a client a discount? I wish every professional I hired would offer me one. I use a combination of the SC price guide, the old Sign Contractor's pricing guide, and my own common sense...
  11. What about your sign?

I've had this up for about 2 years but I think I'm gonna change the colors this summer. It's hand painted MDO with aluminum flashing to give it a thicker look.
  12. Shipping magnetic signs?

That's what I was worried about, the heat while in the back of the truck (even though I used USPS) I made a coro folder, with liner paper in between the two mags, and everything went fine.
  13. Happy birthday, cdiesel~!

    Happy birthday! Love....Jill
  14. Baby day

She's a rose between two thorns. :) Just teasing. Every gal needs a few big brothers to look out for her. What a lovely family you have.
  15. Is it just me?

You must have been in Butler, plenty of hacks up here. Love....Jill

  18. First 3D letter sign, How to attach?

If you get the letters from Gemini make sure the get a pattern from them too. I'd stud mount from the rear as well as use silicone. (not that I'm an expert, once was enough for me) Love....Jill
  19. Oracal 651 for trailers

Paint would also be my first choice. You said it's an older trailer. It is so much less costly and it's faster for me than d!cking around with vynull and bubbles/wrinkles. Use Ronan Bulletin enamel, then wait a few days and apply your white cast lettering. Love....Jill
  20. I'm new here and stopped in to say hello!

Hello from a fellow sign chick. Welcome from 20 miles north of Pittsburgh PA. I've been in this trade since 1985. Love....Jill
