would also make the bridge a different color and/or the town's name so the water design is more apparent since that is where the town's name comes from.

they have LOTS of videos on how to keep your color constant.
as others have said if you are not goring to profile your monitors/printers then you will have to print the colors...
depends on the situation
indoors / lots of lights then matte, keeps the glare down.
gloss is more for the vivid colors, ie that's why photos are typically done in glass
personally Matte is the preferred finish
as long as you are careful and seal the edges good where the wiper blade comes in contact then you will be good on curling/peeling.
the scratches/marks are something entirely different and will be noticeable
the initial proof and one edit is what we use to do but after so many times of the edit being used for an entirely new design we changed.
the other reason for changing is just like the OP situation, the customer brings a file from another designer.
that is why EVERY projects gets the disclaimer...
we print using Eco Sol onto Reflective. there are a few points to be aware of though.
the more ink you lay the more of the reflective is diminished, ALWAYS laminate printed reflective.
be careful when doing gray scale, as the light when it is dark will turn the reflective "green" if not printed...

what I was hesitant on was the small bed, 12x24 and the speed. It was SLOW...
since they want bottom dollar Oracal 3551 or 3M IJ40 are listed as flat vehicle calendar.
NOTE: Fellers has the 3751 bundle list as only $36 dollars more than the 3551 bundle
