  1. L26500 + Caldera profiling

Those light ink setting don't correlate to the two RIPs I have for driving my L25500. Can you post a screen captures of the light ink graph. This is great information and hopefully someone with Caldera can help you out better than I can. Have you tried using 12-Pass and push the drying and air...
  2. L26500 + Caldera profiling

You're throwing to much ink at it. How many passes? What points do you have set on your light magenta and cyan? What is your highlight replacement set to? Where do they drop off to 0%? What is your ink limit set to? What is your drying temps and fan set to? This can have some effect on ink...
  3. printing media and vinyl costs

Sounds like they may be getting government grants, payoff from politicians, stealing from the tax payers. We had someone on here bosting about doing just that not long ago.
  4. Cutting Master 3 is out! It is totally awesome.

CM3 does not work with the VinylExpress version of the Graphtec cutter. CM2 does.
  5. Printing on Avery adhesive vinyl with the L26500 (MPI2120, 2122...)

Blotchiness and artifacts sound more like ink limiting issue but it could be just incomparable media. The two RIPs here that I can run the L25500 on are Colorgate and Fiery XF. Colorgate has better control of the light inks but that is about all I can say for it. The main RIP I use is the Fiery...
  6. Printing on Avery adhesive vinyl with the L26500 (MPI2120, 2122...)

I print on Avery MPI 2923 & 2903 EASY APPLY Film all the time. What problems are you having?
  7. At what retail cost is banner printing in your local area ?

You need to find out what government handout of your tax money they are getting.
  8. Printing on Avery adhesive vinyl with the L26500 (MPI2120, 2122...)

I print on Avery products but don't think I have printed on those. I always create my own color setups and profiles based on the material and needs of particular print jobs. From some of the canned profile I have seen I am surprised that there are people out there trying to use them and you...
  9. Designjet L28500 Color Management Headaches

Funny, I was just checking prices on Bantex 18oz and Ultraflexx Blockout LTX. Bantex from Grimco. .72 per square ft. Blockout LTX from Harbor .45 per square feet. Also I was seam welding some tents for a local tent maker using Synder Manufacturing 1610 Blockout. Tried some in the Latex and...
  10. HP 25500 Settings for 6 pass Banner

Keep your ink limits down, your heat high and don't use the light inks.
  11. Adobe - Finally

When it comes to future CC versions I guess this answers the question about being forced to upgrade or does it? http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/2013/03/5-myths-about-adobe-creativ e-cloud.html Myth #5: I will be forced to always run the latest version of the software You are not forced to...
  12. Adobe - Finally

What incentive will Adobe have to produce new features or even fix bugs once they get you hooked on their Creative Captivity drug. And once they get that revenue stream from your CC addiction you will pay monthly or no software to use, crappy full of bugs or not. Without any real...
  13. Adobe CC not CS

And, how many of us in a demanding production environment continue to use older version just because of all the bugs Adobe introduces into upgrades. We only install new version and test them as time allows. But many a time using an older version is a necessity because of these introduced bugs.

  16. Profile for Avery MPI3303 Adhesive Calendar vinyl (Onyx rip HP L25500 Latex)

Why isn't Boss making you create your own profiles?
  17. Buying a L26500 or L28500 and RIP.

With the media clips and the onboard spectro on the L26500, let us know how you find profiling with Colorgate using the onboard spectro. The biggest problem I had with that combination on the L25500 was the media start point and curling enough to get caught on the printhead carriage.
  18. 26500 prints like **** under 10 pass

The point of more passes is not necessarily to lay down more ink. Just because to can get away with laying down more ink with more passes does not mean you should. The point of more passes with the Latex ink printer is to avoid coalescing of the ink and to make proper use of the heat on...
