I'm having the same issue. Not as bad as yours, but it happens on 100% cyan and rich black. I print CMYK bands to get everything firing off and then it goes away. I use up about 4-5' of material. I have new dampers that I'm going to install and see if that helps the issue.
Way less than 1%
I think once you understand how it works, you don't make many mistakes. I have been to many shops that eat up 20% or more of their prints just because they (the operators) don't know how to properly setup their laminator and understand what is actually happening. Why the...
Design in CMYK, export as RGB. 99 out of 100 come out very close to what was on the screen. Of course we have Pantone charts printed with our favorite settings and use those to color match/color choose when necessary.
choucove,
check out the link http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136555&cm_sp=ProductSpotlight-_-22-136-555-_-04092010
It has arrived. And the price...very tempting...
Choucove, we did the same thing. After remodeling and moving equipment around, our single 25 footer was not long enough. Just adding a USB extender was not good enough/plotter was not recognized by the computer. I actually went and purchased the CAT5 kit (which looks like it would be awesome...

Interesting for sure. He was referring to a 512gb Z drive. I'm...
And also make sure the correct users have privileges set up. In other words make sure you can read/write and not just read. Also, you may want to just map a network drive for the folders you visit most.
Okay...a revisit...after hearing Tony say it will work...
I reinstalled the drivers on my Win7 x64 and Omega 3.0 is working. Just the design station. Now, I'm going to try and run the Edge I next week on a Win7 32 bit when I have time.
I setup Omega 2.6 on Vista x64 last year, but there...
Not really in the area...I PM'd you a while back. Titan Signs and Graphics in Houston. I'm near 610@ Ella. I have a sister-in-law that lives off of Kuykendahl and 2920. Over by your shop kind of. I live in Jersey Village area.
Yep, I'm getting tired of being tied to Win XP just to run my Edge I....I have been wanting to try it on 32bit Win 7, but I've been reluctant. Just don't want to go through the headache for possibly nothing....Tony, will the Edge I work on Win 7 32 bit?
+1 on just getting to know the vendors. I did ASI over 10 years ago for one year. It was worth it to learn alot about different vendors. I now just contact vendors/manufacturers directly. They have never turned me down because I don't have an ASI number. I have a couple of brokers that use...
