This is what we prefer to use: Sailrite - Fabric, Canvas, and Sewing Machines Since 1969
Painted quite a few too. Makes it challenging when a tenant moves out and a new one moves in though...
We ordered our first SignBurst computer about a month and a half ago and it has worked flawlessly. All shop computers will be from them in the future. Lightning fast and great customer service. Worked with us to get what our needs dictated and it shipped exactly when they said it would. Very...
The new Avery 1360z is optically clear. Don't remember if the 1360 was, it has been discontinued for a while. We just use One Shot UV Clear Acrylic Gloss. The perf on the shop truck has been on for over 4 years. Hard to see out it in the rain but it doesn't rain much here in the desert.
Very, very happy with my 2 Mutohs. I've been able to maintain and replace the two parts I've needed in over 7 years. Never even needed a service call! 1204 and 1624x.

Give this a try for vinyl removal
I have a 1204 and 1624 and have had the same issue. I turn the heat off on everything but the dryer which I leave at 50. Sometimes I still have issues with 54" material on the 1624 and have to un-roll the material and keep a lot of slack in it. Fairly easy to unroll it until it hits the ground...
Picture attached. The black backwards picture on the bottom is the first surface with blockout. The top picture there is a white halo around the lettering even though we put a 1/4" inside contour stroke for overlap. Fortunately I've only done a small test on this, the finished faces are 36x144"...
Our local communities have a dark skies ordinance and we are not allowed to have white glowing backgrounds on our illuminated signs. Normally we can reverse the colors and come up with a nice looking project but I have a corporation that needs (wants) the white background. I bought some blockout...
