    Summa should give you the printer free and make money on consumables. Printing cost is about 10 times more if full color because there isn't 3rd party stuff. Spot color is it's advantage.

    I try your suggestion, printed 3" strips. The foil is not advancing. When I lift up the cover, the foil is loose, only advanced by the vinyl movement.

    It might be a compatibility issue being a newer version than your LXI. When we export .AI file, we would choose version 7 .ai, maybe same as EPS, try Postscript 1 or Postscript 2.

    Make 10" green text with say .5" green outline, behind fill, then duplicate this text on top, change the outline to say .25" white, behind fill.

    EPS file can be either bitmap or vector or combined, if original graphic is abitmap, you will get bitmap. In Coreldrw importing EPS files, there is choice of "Encapsulate PostScript" or "PostScript Interpreted", choose "PS" to get vector.

    In my experience, this is not an software issue. 1. print foil on foil has quality issues. Try to print 5 layers of foil and see. 2. Print white foil on black, result is lite grey. Thus the silver foil, as a block out.
