Understood,.... we run our Mimaki units (JV33 / CJV30) quite hard and am now wondering if there are more "robust" and reliable machines available???? JP

Reaching out to Mimaki JV33 users : We're getting consistent dropouts (like half the nozzles on a single cyan channel) ---- a normal cleaning brings back the channel to full capacity but depending on the length of a print file we have encountered dropouts in mid print to at least 50% capacity...

Enjoy the journey and be ready for a HUGE learning curve,... if like you say,.....you are not familiar with the nature of the printing equipment and or techniques (intricacies) used in the wrap industry...JP

In flexi I often change my workspace to Corel because of my background and found that the CMYK color space is not available ,...however, when using the default workspace, CMYK appears as an option.....go figure......JP

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,.............muddy waters to be sure! I've run both brands and have learned that it would be best to build a war chest to use beyond the warranty period. Be sure to inquire about the "duty" cycle these machines are capable of and take care to follow all maintenance regimens...
