I love my eco sol printer. I don't think they're going anywhere. I do think all the sensitive media profiles and complications are the downfall of the latex machines from HP or as Merritt likes to call them. HP = Heap of Plastic.

Most repairs on the roland will cost 1-2k, so it could be worth it if a head board blows or heads fry. Although you can fix a head board yourself for about 45.00 if you can solder. Depends on what you're comfortable with fixing stuff yourself. .

All my substrate are soft after printing. Maybe you don't have enough ink going down on your profile. What over all ink output do you use on your banner profile?
