It is better to have tension on the roll so the masking doesn't unroll and touch the graphics prematurely, and looking at your CLAMPS on both the pipe and the roll that is adding the TENSION needed....even if you don't think so! :thumb:

This has not happened to me, however I have had cross contamination when soaking my heads, one color ink wicks up into the other color damper. One thing I was taught to do when soaking heads is to remove the cartridges, I pull them out about 1 inch while soaking.

Yes, you have to move it and follow a the lines on the monitor (at least get close) and the software moves the actual cutter, as long as you stay within the guides it cuts very accurate. If you go outside the guide line it automatically stops cutting and the bit raises up, then you put it back...
