  2. Alternative to frosted vinyl for glass?

I've always used the 3-M/Gerber frosted crystal vinyl for the sandblast look on glass. But with my latest order the price has jumped over 35% and I thought it was already expensive!:help Does anyone have alternative brand suggestions?

  5. Bicycles...............

I love my Trek navigator. I tend to bike about an hour a day with it. It is a 21 speed hybrid, comfy seat. Cost is somewhere around $500+ for them these days. I bought mine slightly used from Craigslist for $400. I had to keep an eye out for it for quite a while before I found it. My hubby has a...
  6. New day, New ideas

I just noticed the ampersand on the bottom with the spine worked into it. What about number two with the bolder letters and the ampersand replacing the +. Then you could drop the boxes design because the ampersand incorporates an image.
  7. New day, New ideas

Number two but make Spine & Disc as bold as in number one.
  8. Spring loaded pole banner brackets?

Ok, I have found two different types of brackets that are supposed help with wind load. The first is the spring type called the Wind Deflector and another one has what is apparently a special fiberglass rod that bends, their video shows a guy jumping on it to show how it bends and then bounces...
  9. Spring loaded pole banner brackets?

Has anyone used these? I have a quote request for these but they appear to cost nearly 3 times as much as a regular banner bracket with fiberglass poles. I guess I'd like to know if they're worth it in your opinion. Oh, it's a church and they want to put on 4 banners per pole, they're looking at...
  10. Is there a quick way to create vector "grunge"?

How about a little marbling as the fill in the word bacon? you know, make it look like the fat in bacon? It might well be over the top to do it though.
  13. score cutting magnets

Magnetic material dulls blades quickly! Remember to add the cost of a new blade in the project price.
  14. Vinyl letters on top of mirrored tint - what color?

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys. I like the idea of cutting an oversize outline of the image in the tint, but I didn't apply the tint. The (cheapie) customer only wanted black or white. They went with white and they are happy with it. With the mirror tint applied to the inside and the...
  15. Vinyl letters on top of mirrored tint - what color?

My client has a door that they want their logo on, however they're tinting it first with a mirrored tint. Which color shows up better: white or black?

  17. X5 Node Nightmare

If that is what X5 does I'm never upgrading and Corel needs to do a fix for it. Keep us informed on what you find out.
  18. HDU sign blanks

Thanks Jill for the reminder about these great sign blanks. :U Rock:
  19. Tired of Plastic Aframes

It's nice to see something other than plasticade. Around here any A frame sign has to have a way to put sandbags (or some other type of weight)on it to hold it down, otherwise it would quickly be blown over and flying down the street.
  20. Not Really signwork

These are very interesting they have a great deal of energy but also seem soothing. To my eye, they seem to be detailed studies from a larger image.
