  1. Is there such a thing as heat resistant decals?

Seriously Tammi? I did not ask for fireproof, nor indestructable. These are going on smoke detectors which themselves are not fireproof. The smoke detectors would hopefully perform their duties, the fire would be controlled and there would still be something on the detector to identify the...
  2. Is there such a thing as heat resistant decals?

This is the city health department distributing smoke detectors to low income homes. It's not high tech, I think they just want to be able to take credit for detecting some fires.
  3. Is there such a thing as heat resistant decals?

They want to apply them to smoke detectors. In case of fire they hope to be able to identify their detectors as the ones that alerted them to fire. So obviously they wouldn't stand up to full flames but might be readable after some nearby heat.
  4. Is there such a thing as heat resistant decals?

Another client request. I have an Edge, I don't of any Gerber products that would qualify. I would need a source I guess. Thank you.
  5. Banner sleeve for a monument sign

My client needs a banner sleeve for a rectangular monument sign. Needs to last about six months. What's the best way to get these made? Sewn seams on all three sides, or lace up on one side? My banner sewing guys (Aksarben, Council Bluffs, IA) went out of business so I can't call them up.
  6. Frosted windows

Ooh, I didn't know there was an air release version of this stuff! I need to try it. Klingsigns - pay attention to what Pat said: this isn't the easiest stuff to work with. Always count on using more than you estimated.
  7. New signs

love both of them, thank you for sharing. That first one I would describe as multi media art, calling it a sign is not good enough!
  8. Car Wash Decal Material???

The bigger question might be what type of surface are they to be applied to? Lots of car washes are concrete block.
  9. Orbus..... not able to call them

Yes, they're still in business, just got a shipment from them. It is still the holidays for some you know.
  10. logo critique

The graphic image may be a little large in comparison to the text? The text definitely should be lightened up in the grayscale image.
  11. A Concern...Need your input.

When a customer if mine wants to apply there own graphics, they are responsible for any screw ups and I will not give them any kind of warranty. Period. I tell them "if I'm applying and I mess up I replace it, if you mess it up you will have to pay for the reordered piece." There are so many...
  12. Online fax service?

Before posting this I did a search here for "online fax" and "fax" and nothing turned up! That previous thread I believe only mentions one online service (Unity Fax). Anyone have others they use?
  13. Online fax service?

Wondering about using an online fax service. Our fax has crapped out and we send maybe 10 faxes a month. Hardly worth a new one, but is there a free service or must it be paid for to be secure?
  14. Jill... I shot a naughty photo for you today!!

Ha, ha. Thanks for posting one for the girls Doug!
  15. another Font Id

Thank you Vector Doctor! The sign company that did this went out of business. I think they stretched their business practices too much, lol.
  16. another Font Id

Hi folks, this one wouldn't show up on What the Font. Can anyone help please? Click to enlarge.
  17. Rynoboard?

Yeah, it's the water issue I am wondering about. Do you suppose a pvc board would work with wallpaper paste as the adhesive? I guess I could use spraymount if I had to. Not planning on removing it from the board but removing the boards to move the map elsewhere at a future date (they are in...
  18. Hello from Offutt AFB!

Welcome from Lincoln - right next door!
  19. Rynoboard?

Anyone ever use this stuff? I have an interior application where my client (an interior decorator) ordered a big map which consists of 3 4x8 sheets of laminated print. They got it off art.com or somewhere like that which says it can be mounted with wallpaper paste. They want me to mount it on...
  20. Installing perforated vinyl

I don't have any of the laminate. This was outsourced for printing and came laminated. Looks like I may be just leaving it unsealed. I can get the 3-M Edge seal if really needed though.
