You could copy then paste each Illy portion into PS, which would allow you to paste them as "smart objects" which will remain fully editable in Illustrator and automatically update in PS with your changes. You will still get each object on its own layer that way as well.

Export, select .psd, make sure you check "write layers"

Actually, when compared to the other software typically used within this industry, Creative Suite is by far the superior choice in for both design and and investment.

You cant, you need to set it in Photoshop, bear in mind you cannot add resolution only reduce, you must start with an image that has sufficient res from the get go.

Okay, open the eps up in Illustrator.... Go to File/Print... In the drop down menu where your printers are located select "Adobe PDF" You will see the menu just below that one become active "PPD" you need to do nothing there. Click print, it will then print to the PDF Writer which is different...

Save the file first as an eps, then print to pdf, this should cure the problem
