Stick with the Roland ink

.eps is transparencies are incompatible with spot colors, which "CutContour" happens to be. You need to flatten your transparencies before exporting as an eps.

In the case of CS3, that would no longer pose any problem since it handles the eps as a smart object, the text can remain editable

You need a new blade holder, theres a tiny little set of ball bearings in it, they are probably jammed up. The condition you describe occurs when the blade attempts to rotate to follow the cutline and basically is being dragged sideways, change the holder fire it up and youll be good to go!

How about a manual cleaning? If the problem persists, you could start with the dampers, but be prepared for print heads.

If it was a free font, often times the actual display name differs from the actual file name look around in there, Ai and Ps are pretty smart, Ill bet its there somewhere

Versaworks does not appear to honor the "artboard" dimensions, but rather sees the boundary of the artwork or text if you will, by adding the white box you specified the boundaries, however in the case of text, if it is not converted to curves then often times there will additional space above...

Try creating all those cutlines in Illustrator not PS, then send it to VersaWorks and see where you stand then, it sounds like it is seeing multiple copies of the same cutline..
