All good suggestions above, in fact you might try doing them in that order, check in wireframe, flatten or rasterize, open in versaworks. You should be able to see the bounding box in versaworks once youve opened your file that should let you know what its going to do right there and then

If you use Versaworks, go to quality/ignore default settings, change the #400 to 700, it will print nearly twice as fast

Try Cleaning it manually, run a couple medium clean cycles, try it again.

So resize your image in PS to 50% and then drop it in and it should be where you want it.
