I have a customer who has requested a quote on a double sided outdoor LED message board that would measure around 12" x 96". Does anyone here have any suggestions for a good wholesale manufacturer of these? More specifically, he would need a wireless programmable board.
Here's my first crack at it. It's a bit fun and playful. Maybe like something you would see at a place like Shoe Carnival. I will probably try something elegant and something vintage also just for fun.
We ordered Pantone color books when we first opened our doors and I can say it was a great investment for all the signage, screen printed apparel, and digital prints that we sub out. It makes matching colors a breeze.
I don't know. I've never done these before, hence the reason I'm asking. I would rather know what to do than guess and wind up with stuck letters that won't come unstuck.
Thanks for your help, Moze. You are the man.
From what I gathered on the 3M website they make no mention of being able to apply wet. However, they do say that the bond of the adhesive is slow curing over a period of 72 hours and a minimum of 15 psi pressure should be applied to the tape for a good bond when applying. So I'm wondering if...
Oh, one more thing...can the VHB pads be applied wet with Rapid Tac or something similar? It would be nice if I could slide them into position rather than trying to just drop them in perfect every time (I don't know if that would even be a feasible approach).
The tabs I'm referring to are VHB tape.
As far as the vinyl pattern goes, that is the direction I think we will move toward. I ordered the pounce pattern from Gemini because I figured in some way it would make my job easier, however I'm not convinced on this particular application. I...
I'm doing my first job mounting laser cut acrylic letters to white polycarbonate panels. I'm using Gemini 1/4" laser cut letters and since this sign isn't backlit, I'm going to be using letters with 3M (sigh) double sided sticky pads on the back. I payed the extra money and ordered a pounce...
The shield does resemble a mounting plaque, huh? I still have to discuss these with the customer and see what their feelings are on the layouts. From there it may be back to the drawing board. Thanks for the head's up. I also just noticed the collar could use a couple more spikes under the...
...or 500 others. Googled references for over a half an hour and found thousands of bulldog head icons. I think they all pretty much look the same after a half hour of searching...
I will as soon as I get the dog vectorized. I can pretty much envision exactly how I want the lettering to look in relation to the dog, so I'm gonna skip right past a full sketched mock up and go straight to Corel with this one.
I was approached by a sound and security company to do some vehicle decals. The companies current "logo" is a bulldog flexing muscles from the Mega Collection clip art books. It's very dated and reflects poorly on this business IMO.
I suggested that he have me create a new updated logo...
Thanks for noticing that when I flipped the machines I failed to flip the light source. You pay attention to every detail and it shows, hence I always appreciate your feedback and help. I designed everything from the machines, to the wings, down to the ornamental flourishes. I tattooed for...
