From my experience, I started cutting vinyl with a Copam CP-2500 24" cutter. With the right software it works sorta okay, however long straight cuts across the x axis result is choppy dash line type cuts. You have to literally add extra nodes along those long straight paths to slow the machine...

I have a simple question for you guys and girls. Do the majority of outdoor vinyl solvent based adhesives adhere properly to galvanized steel assuming the steel is clean and relatively smooth? I'm just wondering if any known reactions occur when vinyl graphics are applied to galvanized steel.

Are the cheap grommet punches that you use with a hammer okay for a sign shop that will use it on VERY rare occasions, rather than for everyday production? We would just use it for placing grommets into coroplast for hanging sign frames and perhaps occasionally replacing a grommet in a banner...
