I used to use Corel 8 and those files would go straight into Flexi with minimal problems. But now that I have X3, it won't do it all. I usually save artwork as a CDR, and then a copy as AI (saved in Illustrator 8 format) and that usually opens fine in Flexi. I HATE Flexi for it's file...

Thank you Signage! That software looks awesome! And it's cheap...??? wow! So basically it just images everything from one hard drive to another, in this case, a backup drive. Correct? Sounds perfect and painless. And for $50 for the home edition.... wow. :thankyou:

When you use the bevel tool it turns the vector image into a cropped raster image. I think at about 300DPI if you haven't played with the bevel settings. So basically, if you're trying to re-size some vehicles graphics, your 127KB file can turn into a 750MB file pretty quickly.

How high quality of a vectorizing job do you need? You do realize that is one heckuva intense image to vectorize, right? I hope you don't plan on cutting it on a plotter? This is about the best I can vectorize it....

That's only for a outline, I'm talking Contour. It changed my outline attributes, but I rarely use outlines as they suck when you want to resize an image. Does the contour tool have an option like that???
