The Rolands are one of the few that "print and cut". And it's a joke IMHO. Most printers do just that.... print. A few will contour cut. For most folks, that means using a seperate plotter (like me). If you can, look for a PC1100 like someone else mentioned, or an old Graphtec FC series...

A cutter and a plotter is the same thing. It cuts out shapes in solid colored vinyl that you buy on a roll. A printer lays down the color, but doesn't do any cutting. Just like a desktop printer... only way bigger. A printer will put you back atleast 13K, while you could probably find a used...

I'll buy product if it works. Who cares if the owner is pushy. Especially if others push him. I find myself not caring if the owner if Toyota is a jerk, why should I care if Rapid Tac is or is not?

Try exporting as ai. X3 is not compatible with a LOT of programs. It just doesn't export very well. I can't tell you why, I can only tell you what it does. Try exporting as ai. 8. That works good for me. If not that, then just start trying other formats....
