TWICE in the past month I've had clients calling me for "Sealed Engineer Drawings" that included wind-load.
Both signs are dibond panels screwed & glued directly to the facade of the buildings. We didn't install the first one, but it was going on a brick wall. We are installing the second one...
Every job I tell clients they get an initial design (or two or three) and then two revisions. After that, they pay a design fee.
This is very important with menus. I don't know what people are thinking sometimes, decide on the menu and prices before you come to me. Please!
Its true that it doesn't fix the problem, but taking the truck out of the equation will force them to find another solution. I don't know about your shop, but if we couldn't make deliveries for a few weeks, we'd be screwed.
I try to figure stuff this way too, but not really with banners. I can give someone a slightly better deal per sqft on a 4ft width banner because there is no waste. But I am charging them more than if they only want a 3ft banner because ink costs $$ and so does the extra hem tape & grommets.
Awesome. You are all the best!
I think part of it was done with silk screening... The brand & 4 color logo is the same on all banners. But there is different event details on each of them, so I would think there were many "blanks" made with the logo, and the details were heat pressed.
Anyway...
Can you do it?
My client said the white actually looks like its almost reflective, with a silverish hue. Is flatbed-white silvery?
If not, does anyone have a lead on who can silkscreen a bunch (24) of 36x60" banners on Sunbrella this week?
So you are out the deposit, but not the remaining balance?
I would argue with the credit card company that the remaining payment by check was the signature needed to accept the product.
That is what I was thinking. Is there any ecosolvent printable nylon out there? I actually asked him if he thought it was vinyl, polyester or nylon, and he said heavy duty nylon.
I have a client who needs to replace a bunch of banners that were sent to him from the parent company with a major misspelling...
I don't have it in hand, but he sent me a picture of the back. Banner background is blue, and the front has mostly white graphics with a small bit that is red...
The thing is, they "returned" the product by disputing the credit card charge. I think it is legal to retrieve it.
But yes, either way, file a court case. You will hopefully win at least part of the claim.
Can you go remove the banner? I'm fairly certain the credit card company can't take your money AND let them keep the product.
If they don't let you in, take them to small claims court. You can actually still take them to small claims court for the amount due, and I think you should.
