Hmm, I should try prisons...I hear they work for like .20 an hour..bound to be a good deal. And after two 8 hour work days they will almost have enough for a pack of smokes..
win win.
when I called Xrite they suggested the i1 pro designer or somesuch for 2k (on sale lol) Are the others ones just as good and supported by onyx 10?
"or good enough..."
Anyone have a device which I am still not sure what it is called that reads swatches and tells onyx 10 how to adjust for a custom profile?
There is the I1 pro etc. but they cost 2 grand...anyone have one for rent? I saw Color Munki for rent but I hear they are no good for wide format...Also it...
So we've got a new flatbed printer (gandi 1224) and of course we are running into color management issues....(I'm sure many do not feel sorry for us but,)
Normally everything is pretty straightforward and customers are not married to an exact color, but the ones that do make the process pretty...
I'm in color management madness with the addition of our gandi 1224 and onyx...whereas before it was just versaworks and rs-640 with built in swatches...
Printed out a pantone chart from onyx...never matched up to files out of illustrator...Hell the actual pantone swatch book was more accurate...
Got our Gandi 1224! Been looking for one for months. Loaded it up and drove it home ourselves over the weekend.
Let me tell you, trying to unload 7300 pounds is Hell any way you slice it. It is surprising no one was killed, and not even a finger was pulverized..
Now the electrician says we...
Ours had a problem of the blade not turning in the holder which made the cuts poor.
See if you can spin the blade with your finger there needs to be no resistance.
yeah and the cutting strip lol
yeah I downloaded it and sent it to print in our normal way through illy to versaworks and the middle is dark..
Sent straight to versaworks and the same thing happens.
Opens colorful in photoshop and acrobat, but I fear it may not be accurate because we don't usually print out of those programs.
Bought it...transformer, onyx 10, and a vent fan included...hating on my fishing eh...print tested and test printed great! Installing it next Friday. Filling up the dumpster to make room is my priority now.
