GEE! Just ANOTHER reason to hate Gerber
THIS is the reason I have NEVER liked Gerber Scientific. When they kept their system, and most of their fonts proprietary, and not useable outside their domain, I knew I would never buy into their selfish protectionism.Went with Adobe in 1988 and until...

Pretty much sums it up.
Why would you ask such an open ended question??
Unless a responder to this thread #1 was the original owner selling this unit,
#2 was psychic [ which I don't believe in].
#3 you know who still provides service and parts for this printer
Your question is ridiculous...
I have found that it is NOT necessary to use a push/pull gauge. Just put your hand on top of the material and run it into the rollers. When you feel like screaming "that hurts like H3LL" it should be just about right.

Illustrtor CC not working correctly
ERIC:
While trying your suggestion on using the arrow keys to enlarge the round corner feature in the CC version of Illustrator, the arrow key suggestion does not work. Any suggestions??
Thanks so much.
I forgot that you mentioned in an earlier post that it is best to work on artwork that is 8-10 times enlarged. I was missing that step. Once I went to larger artwork, the up/down arrow thing works really slick.

ERIC: could you please explain to this old **** the exact steps you use when you are doing the round corner rectangle that you demoed in your video tutorial. I have watched it a number of times, and just can't figure out how you are changing the corner radius "on the fly". A step by step would...
Biker:
Give this a try. Make a square/ rectangle.
Go to eEFFECTS, convert to shape [choose round corner rectangle].
A fly out option will appear, and if you choose preview, you can play with the radius till you are satisfied.
Hit OK.
Go to OBJECT menu, click on EXPAND APPEARANCE.
Done!
No, they only resell "stock" stripe kits to the trade. They have nothing to match.
I thought the same thing as you, [ looks like a condensed version of the lower one].
Still looking.
I need to do replacement stripes on a 2004 Chevy conversion van. The claims adjuster sent this terrible photo and wants me to try to locate stripes to match the conversion.
My source for the stripes {Restylers Warehouse} carries the lower stripe "Mirage 575" it is a metallic silver.
They do...

He is super busy, but well worth the wait if you can get on the schedule. He REALLY knows these machines inside & out.
Possible solution?
Gino;Would your client consider you doing the gold leaf on a new piece of glass in the traditional way? Then mounting the new sign INSIDE the door or window with some type of stand off system that would mount to the second surface of the door or window?

Please understand I am NOT trying to be a smart a$$ here.
