    Don't skimp on the primer! Top coat use whatever you know and trust (for outdoors of course). Spray finish is always nicer. Two coats of primer ... 2-3 coats of color.

    We get very hot and very cold as well. Avery is all i've been using for quite a few years now. Never seen that kind of failure. (no failures at all actually). I am using MPI 1005 with Dol 1060 lam. Printing with Roland Ecosol Max inks.

    X-Acto #11 all the way! You can weed with the tip of the blade then slice up your pieces with the long edge of it. Had an employee a few years ago demanding #16 blades. Still have some left. They are useless :noway: I should state the i prefer Grifhold brand blades over x-acto. x-acto...

    I don't worry about the scuffs ... I blow torch it after it's installed. Works great for me. Note that i am using Avery MPI1005 with Dol1060 as laminate.

    Cast vinyl is the longest lasting. As far as manufacturer life expectancy. I couldn't say if one brand lasts longer than another. To many things can affect the material once it's outside. I just tell my customers "Cast vinyl: Over 7 years)

    I have daily backups on external WD drives. And also weekly backups on a dual WD drive that is mirrored (raid config). So i have a total of 3 backup copies ... Think i will be ok. Thanks for the info.
