Spray on automotive clear?
If we're talking commercial furniture. Any vinyl laminate will scratch, rip and leave an adhesive residue. Clear acrylic you don't want. So my suggestions would be a hard, spray on clear.
I lucked out on the garbage bin expense!
My landlord is a big Roofing company. I pay them 75.00$ a month and have unlimited access to his full size dumpsters. I can throw away full 4'x8' sheets or 16' lumber without having to chop it down! :thumb:
And concerning the Canadian dollar ...
We will have to agree to disagree :toasting:
Never had good experience with pre-painted. And i wasn't asking for cheap i would demand the good quality kind.
Still no good after three years.
I prefer to paint my own and we are setup to do so quite easily.
Pre painted is garbage.
Better to paint it yourself it will last twice more years.
Backsides you can paint with exterior latex. No need for oil based on the back.
You can be rude, hang up, yell ... They still keep calling back.
I don't know how many times i've told them the owner is dead, gone on vacation won't be back until next year or just plain hang up. They still don't stop.
Now i just don't care. I hang up with no feelings whatsoever.
i haven't checked today but when this thread started i went to Rolanddga.com and i thought i saw there was some support for legacy models.
(I saw my VS was supported).
I'll let you know if i hear from him again.
I don't have his contact info, he is the one who called me and just showed up.
He's probably filling them up with 3rd party inks.
Last year i had a guy from Montreal drop by and he took all my empty cartridges and gave me 2$ for each one. Cash out of his pocket so you gotta love that.
I am hoping he will stop by soon again. These things add up.
Not a fan of Compbond.
It is to thin. You can kink it very easily just by handling it.
My local supplier has switched to it because of the Canadian dollar.
My other option right now is Alupanel light and i will be contacting other suppliers to see what they have to offer.
Those panels are...
Hopefully you will be two people installing this.
If it's an inside wall with latex or a painted brick surface, i would be tempted to bring a paint roller.
Roll down on the vinyl as your helper removes the backing paper.
I would also place bits of masking tape every 4 feet or so as a guide.
