Don't know how fast my system is, i would have to check. I think those speeds are for newer models.
Laser quality sure beats what i was getting from a supplier (don't remember what system they were running though)
Interesting thread:thumb:
Nice machine Adrian.
I have a Gravograph system. If things keep going the way they are .. I might be looking at getting a second unit.
Built like a tank and has been running solid for over three years now.
Love lasers :toasting:
Sounds like a nightmare to reproduce exactly like the movie title.
- What if you use one of your system fonts (say Helvetica or Arial).
- Download or create a grunge pattern to use in Photoshop (or whatever photo software you use).
Try to find something similar to the scratch pattern from...
My Father has been using this low pressure system and just loves it.
He uses it to spray lacker on the furniture he builds.

I would set all of the signs in one file (or more depending on how much material the job takes).
Print them all, cut them all through one file in the job list.
For small signs like that i would set up an area of 6'x4'
Problem up here with dumpsters is not people emptying them ... But people filling them up when it's not theirs !!!
Have to regularly do up signs for dumpsters saying violators will be fined.
Maybe the contractor is also the kind of shmuck who decides to do everything himself to keep as much money as possible in his pockets.
Why waste it on a sign guy. I can order letters and install them myself.
This happens everywhere.
Issue i had with my old SC-500 is that i had to offset my origin point at least 5/8" away from the pinch roller to allow the printer to print the crop marks.
Might be what you need to do.
The racking pieces just sit one on top of the other. They are 55" long 1"x4" with 6", 2"x2" end pieces.
It helps to be against a wall (in our case the garage door) to hold against when we slide the plywood accross to the ends.
I can stack about 20 sheets freely ... Over that it helps to...
Although we use plywood less and less there's always that feeling you get that comes with the smell of dust/oil paint that is comforting.
Reminiscent of days gone by ....
I also get a smile looking at that stack holding a beer and feeling at home. :thumb:
Marine grade plywood if i am not mistaken should be Crezon. It should have a thin brown paper coating if it is raw.
It also comes pre-painted (although i am not a fan).
If you apply your vinyl to raw wood. It will fail prematurely.
Here we have 25 sheets of 1/2" Crezon with one coat of...
Here i am mumbling to myself how annoying it is for my Roland to remind me to check the waist bottle every week or so (It can be a quarter full and it will still notify).
Guess i should be happy.
