Looks like a radial blur to me too.
You could also drink enough of this to get the same effect.
It' a "live" effect and depending on how much is applied will either clear up or fade to complete black.

Can you post the exported eps to take a look at?
Hard to guess what might be wrong by blind reckoning.
Send me a pm and I'll give you an email to drop it on.

Neat,
how well does that gold mirror plexi hold up out in the sun?

To fix that hair issue just re-format the video to wide screen 16:9 and crop everything from the moustache up out of the frame.............
They all look nice but what's up with the dedication in the middle of the memorial.
Is that local jargon / colloquialism?
(I'm pretty good at mangling the written English language so maybe it is going right over my head.)

Pretty interesting mix of high tech automation and hand labor:

I'll bet they take you to dinner before they take the 12k out of your wallet.
For 3k you'd maybe get a coupon for a happy meal.
I would think it would be like anything else, the hi dollar unit should have better components that will save you downtime and repairs much farther into the future...
If you have any pallet racks in the shop they work really well for this. Super sturdy with a wide adjustable work platform.
We have an Asian-Pacific islander installer who is compact & light enough to stand on the hood/cowl & do the install without damage.

If you can get the back up file to open to a blank page try doing a Ctrl A to select all and see if anything shows on the lower status bar.
If it shows anything try copying to the clipboard and pasting it into a new empty file.
This one looks interesting:

All,
We found a file...
Seamless is the way to go but we can't print past 52" either so we have done them on smooth matte banner and use glue (HH66) to do the seam.
With a little practice you can have a very flat clean seam with glue that would be very hard to see on a light colored backdrop.

This guy is so "real" he laughs at "hacks" that use brushes, masks & stencils:

(I don't think he is a member here)
I'd use thin white corner crop marks right on the edge with no bleed.
In the rip set the copy spacing to 0 or a small negative number so the marks overlap.
You should be able to cut once and have a clean edge on both sides.

I think you can see from this white paper excerpt that the cloud is expanding at an unsustainable rate and will soon collapse down into a black hole.
Once over the event horizon our money will never be seen again.

5. Conclusions
We have obtained 8.5”×10” resolution maps, using NMA...
This would be the cool way to do it but too much work I think.
You'd pretty much need a profile curve of the actual shape of dome to do an accurate revolve or something.

I think you need to do a site survey.
Measure the diameter at the baseline of where the text will go, then get the diameter at the top of the proposed text.
Convert the diameters to circumference and use those measurements to layout a template.
Should be easy to place and distort the letters...
