  1. Copying this Effect

Looks like a radial blur to me too. You could also drink enough of this to get the same effect. It' a "live" effect and depending on how much is applied will either clear up or fade to complete black. wayne k guam usa
  2. Confusing Corel question .

Can you post the exported eps to take a look at? Hard to guess what might be wrong by blind reckoning. Send me a pm and I'll give you an email to drop it on. wayne k guam usa
  3. You never realize how bald you are until you see yourself on video

Neat, how well does that gold mirror plexi hold up out in the sun? wayne k guam usa To fix that hair issue just re-format the video to wide screen 16:9 and crop everything from the moustache up out of the frame.............
  4. Memorial sign, house sign and some windows

They all look nice but what's up with the dedication in the middle of the memorial. Is that local jargon / colloquialism? (I'm pretty good at mangling the written English language so maybe it is going right over my head.) wayne k guam usa
  5. It's like making a sign, only more spherical....

Pretty interesting mix of high tech automation and hand labor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hP5XLRVy7oU Contour cutting, hand placed decals, screen printing, laminating, heat welding.... wayne k guam usa
  6. real difference between a 3k$ laminator and 12k$ laminator

I'll bet they take you to dinner before they take the 12k out of your wallet. For 3k you'd maybe get a coupon for a happy meal. I would think it would be like anything else, the hi dollar unit should have better components that will save you downtime and repairs much farther into the future...
  7. How the hell do I reach this to wrap?

If you have any pallet racks in the shop they work really well for this. Super sturdy with a wide adjustable work platform. We have an Asian-Pacific islander installer who is compact & light enough to stand on the hood/cowl & do the install without damage. wayne k guam usa
  8. X3, crash and file loss

If you can get the back up file to open to a blank page try doing a Ctrl A to select all and see if anything shows on the lower status bar. If it shows anything try copying to the clipboard and pasting it into a new empty file. This one looks interesting: >>> All, We found a file...
  9. This forum?

Welcome, Everyone loves to dog pile on the new guy. I wonder where Gino is............ wayne k guam usa
  10. Backdrops for photos (red carpet)

Seamless is the way to go but we can't print past 52" either so we have done them on smooth matte banner and use glue (HH66) to do the seam. With a little practice you can have a very flat clean seam with glue that would be very hard to see on a light colored backdrop. wayne k guam usa
  11. Outlining vs just drop shadowed letters, on dark or black back ground

The real question should be what coordinate system the justification of the secondary copy was based on..... wayne k guam usa
  12. This forum?

This guy is so "real" he laughs at "hacks" that use brushes, masks & stencils: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaA5iFUKC18 wayne k guam usa (I don't think he is a member here)
  13. vinyl master software

Just be thankful for CorelDraw, who would the Adobe users have to look down on if there was no CorelDraw? wayne k guam usa
  14. Cutting Square stickers...

I'd use thin white corner crop marks right on the edge with no bleed. In the rip set the copy spacing to 0 or a small negative number so the marks overlap. You should be able to cut once and have a clean edge on both sides. wayne k guam usa
  15. And that's why people don't like the cloud.....

I think you can see from this white paper excerpt that the cloud is expanding at an unsustainable rate and will soon collapse down into a black hole. Once over the event horizon our money will never be seen again. >>>>> 5. Conclusions We have obtained 8.5”×10” resolution maps, using NMA...
  16. OK just finished my first box trailer

To me the rear looks like it was done in Illustrator and the sides CorelDraw...... wayne k guam usa
  17. HELP!! 2015 Silverado Bumper

This may help: http://sdgmag.com/videos/front-bumper-woodie wayne k guam usa
  18. Most unusual vinyl application question

This would be the cool way to do it but too much work I think. You'd pretty much need a profile curve of the actual shape of dome to do an accurate revolve or something. wayne k guam usa
  19. Most unusual vinyl application question

I think you need to do a site survey. Measure the diameter at the baseline of where the text will go, then get the diameter at the top of the proposed text. Convert the diameters to circumference and use those measurements to layout a template. Should be easy to place and distort the letters...
  20. Remove the rivets before wrapping?

If it is a matter of time one of these will make those rivets a distant memory in no time flat. (just need a good air compressor). wayne k guam usa
