Yes I use it all the time, very helpful when redrawing a logo and you want, let's say, all the points along the baseline or tops of letters to be consistent.

Logo was designed by a very talented local graphic designer - Eric Rickabaugh in Columbus. I know that they did not use a "font" for this design. http://home.columbus.rr.com/rickabaughs/PortCL1.html

I'm sure it is all custom. The R is supposed to represent like a racetrack, IMO. Like most car nameplates, these are usually custom and if any fonts show up that are the same, they are usually after the fact. There is a font, for example called Bitsumishi, that is supposed to look like the...
