I still receive allot of purhase orders by fax ... Also, some government agencies and corporations won't accept e-mail as proof of receipt but they will accept a faxed copy :help I'm still keeping it for the near future.

Saving as an .eps file?? That's crazy. Save it as a .jpg ... Import it into Flexi. Create a path following the edges then take your vector shape (that is supposed to be overtop the .jpg), then mask it. Or get Photoshop and do it with just a few clicks. This is pretty simple to do.

This just hapened a week ago. I still have the carts that i pulled out. I was going to put them back in once these new ones are empty. I never check my remaining ink levels since i don't print when i am not in the shop and once i put in new carts i order more so i always have a full set on hand.

Are you sure your printer told you to change the cartridge and not just shake them? I sometimes get messages to "shake" certain cartridges. Pull 'em out, shake then re-insert. I screwed up one time ... Didn't read well and thought i had to replace two cartridges. Took them out and felt...

I remember those specs !!! Got the same idiotic specifications from a quote request by my city a few years ago. They wanted me to screen print CMYK 3M inks for one freeking sign! I just laughed and sent them my quote but using digitally printed vinyl. Never got the job and never saw the sign...

Honest questions: Why do you work in a LAB colorspace ... Why not RGB ... What is the difference you see? I find it easy to work between illustrator and photoshop in Adobe RGB. Especially with pictures.

About two years ago, i was getting more and more requests for small engraved signs. I used to sub it out but as i got more into it, smaller jobs were turning into a pain for my supplyer so i had to buy one. I knew nothing about them and it just happened i had a Gravograph sales rep coming in...

It still looks crooked. I would use that line as reference only then tilt the graphics up a little more on the front end. Eyeball !
