Man ... If i was in his situation: Young, Lots of money, Women a plenty and surrounded by yes people .... I think i'd be dead from over stimulation!
Of course at my age i don't have any love for his music but i still think it would be sad for him to keep going downhill like that. Hopefully he...
This year is a very cold winter. Up here i can ***** and swear at mother nature all i want but at least we are equiped for this cold (doesn't mean i like it though).
I feel bad for you guys south of the border (south of the northern states specifically). You are not used to this cold and not...
How far away are these signs being viewed from? 8'x12' to me is to small for a "highway sign". Those things should at least be 16'x16' and most common is going over the 20' or 24' range.
In regards to wooden structures .... In that size just using 6"x6" is not enough. If i am using preassure...
Some people are more sensitive to fumes than others. Ecosol inks do have a smell to them although not nearly as strong as full solvent.
If you go with a latex printer you should have a separate plotter to go with it or buy a printer/cutter unit. I don't believe there is a latex printer/cutter...
Just lost a job for a fully wrapped Ford E-250 extended van. No design, artwork provided. I went agressive (so i thought) at 2750.00$ but lost it to a competitor for 1700.00$.
Some people are willing to work for nothing ....
At those prices there's no way you can pay 50k a year just for an...
-17c here right now. Damn it just a couple of hours ago it was -25 ....... I hate this crap and i have to go outside later to do some installs (nothing big so that's a good thing).
So ... You want to have a sign shop!
You will need to purchase and learn signmaking software. Since you already know Autocad i don't think you will feel as lost as someone who is new to the industry. You should enquire about which software would be best to learn to run whatever equipment you...
If you are doing full wraps ... The thin laminate is awesome to work with. It stretches like a son of a b...
But if you do partial wraps more than full (that's what i do). The thicker material cuts allot nicer. The thin stuff is to rubbery to make nice cuts. You can still do full wraps no...
Nice job. Nice work.
But......
All that for a white wrap? ummm ok ... Nice mirrors i guess. Customer could have saved some money buying the car white from the get go.
We use what's called a "baker". Kind of a mobile scaffolding unit that painters use. Ours has about a 30"x96" plank.
Closest picture i could find on google is this. Not exactly what we have but close.
I also use Square. No complaints here. The majority of my payables are cheques received in the mail but offering on site credit card processing has been a really nice addition to payment options. And when i don't use it i don't have to pay anything.
WTF ... You don't do work and after try to negotiate a price. All that stuff should be addressed before you start submitting design ideas.
Rookie mistake ... Live and learn.
You should always have an extra set of ink on hand. Wait until the printer itself tells you to change the cartridge. How long you can print after the Versaworks warning depends on what you are printing. I had a warning for a color and was able to keep printing allot before the printer itself...
