Never had a problem with 1360 lam but i do prefer using 1060. It is a little thicker and is much better suited for cutting as well (for partial wraps). The 1360 is very rubbery!
I am using a Royal Sovereign laminator with no heat.
Man ... New people coming in to your existing customer can be a real pain. Sometimes they have their own guy or like you say, trying to earn points with the boss.
I've lost customers in situations like that but on the flip side ... have gained new customers because of the same situation...
Yeah I usually rasterize the art as well. Sometimes though, if there is to much small detail. I like to live dangerously and leave the vectors in
We ALL go through that same scenario every now and then.
If it's a regular customer, then suck it up buttercup. You know you can make that up on futur work.
New customers always have to give me a deposit before any artwork gets created.
I know it sucks feeling you wasted time on that...
Is it me or do you not have any pinch rollers holding down your material in the center?
That could be your problem right there. Material is not held down consistently accross causing it to lift in the center.
I think it's faster to take them out/put them back in than installing over actual rivets.
Either you will be lucky that you have the actual drill bit for the screws or you can use the square Robertson bits (you know .... the screws us Canadians use). Either a number #8 or #10 works very well...
Just because you are a doctor does not mean you can perform brain surgery.
Same thing for artists. Each has their own specialty.
I love the look on "artists" faces when i tell them they don't know jack about designing outdoor signage or vehicle graphics.
Some do but they are few and far...
Close but not quite ... Thanks for your input!
I'll wait until tomorrow. If I don't have it then I will just vectorize and clean up the word and go with that. I do have it as a high res picture so a vector conversion will not be allot of work.
My eyes hurt at this point and everything is looking the same. Hoping someone can help me identify this script font. I adjusted the brightness and contrast to better see the font characteristics.
Thank You.
Some of you can put on the crown and say no way would i take the chance. (i call BS on that one ... most of you would still have chopped it up and not say anything on here ... You know i am right!)
I myself don't give a rats ... If the request was plain and simple (because i usually turn...
Kicked my stubbornness to the curb and signed on to the cloud a few weeks ago. (67.00$ a month Cnd.)
I could not be more happy about how well the programs are working. Coming off of 32 bit programs and using the 64 bit versions is just awesome working on large files. So far it's been real...
The glass cleaner i use does not leave any residue. I have been using this stuff for over 20 years. First at the shop i used to work at and in my shop since 2002. Never had any problems with adhesion. I also use this stuff to clean vehicles. Although on vehicles i also do a quick wipe off with...
This is what i use.
If there is any large amount of adhesive to be removed i will first use some rapid remover.
No need to turn glass cleaning into a science.
