also not bashing just trying to figure out if this is a real sign shop just starting out or a guy whos wife has a Circut. it's one thing to ask the pros it is another to take our knowledge so you can under bid us and figure out how to pound out a job with no knowledge of even the very basic...

we haven't run into that problem but sounds like the best thing to do is get them out of the shop as fast as possible wihtout putting yourself in danger.

I too like the first one best as it is complex yet simple. the second one is very nice but it may be too much. both could work if the second one was the main logo used on the web, cards and such with the first being the short version used for trucks and shirts

just to put it out there, I love these kinds of design threads as the OP posts a design that is good but just needs a few eyes on it as it is missing little thigns to make it great. the OP takes in the input, makes the changes in his own way in his own style and a design goes from OK to great...

do you have any examples of this? a photo woul help. like Gino said, the black reflective on black blends in depending on how the light hits it and maybe the white would too but I don't think of it as a ghost like look.

I'm just a dumb old girl, what do I know:wink: in this guy's defense, people do re-use faces. from the looks of it, that is a big sign so the customer saved himself some money on the plastic and put it into a full color design. anyone notice that money can be tight these days? for a buiness...

I like it. the colors may look off as I'm seeing this on screen but the main tan color and the yellow in the ribbon seem to clash. the background seems to have more brownish undertones where ribbon seems more yellow undertones. can you make the ribbon color a darker shade of the background?
