  1. Plotter buying guide needed!

I've had Graphtec plotters and a cat...older Graphtec ce series are good but they have down graded them tremendously recently. Avoid the ce and go with the fc series. It's a bullet proof plotter and you will love it. The fc series is awesome. I purchased a new ce a few months ago and...

  3. Moving an SP-540 with bulk ink system

Congrats on moving - I hope this is good as I know you've been working out of a shop on your property. Is this a 5,000 square foot retail space on a busy corner and your also now thinking of franchising? ;-) When we moved my sp300v about 15 miles my dealer told me to drain and flush the...

  9. can anyone help with this please?

Here's a TRICK I learned from an old timer if you are not good with node clean-up! Get some rubylith, put on top of layout on light table and trace with an exacto knife, weed away the face of the rubylith, scan in and you have VERY little node clean-up...if any at all. This trick isn't...
  10. Scarecrow vector art or clipart

Ken, I've had to work some miracles with biz cards and I've found it helps me to take a picture of the card and trace it and clean it up from there. That has saved me tons of time.
  11. SP300 or VP300

IMO - vp hasn't been out long enough to verify the price difference - yet. We currently have an sp300v but are upgrading to the 540 with-in the next month. No issues with the sp and we've had it for 1 1/2 years.

Ken, Sorry for late reply, I was out of town with my son taking ATV safety classes so we can go to the dunes next month. Ken and Isign, I had an old ce about 4 years ago I inherited along with an out of business shop's inventory. It was great - actually much better then the the ce-5000 I...
  14. Buying A "real" Cutter

I hope I caught you!!! Call em back and change your order. DO NOT get the ce-5000! Cheap, cheap, cheap! the ce series reminded me of my panther...only not as nice. AND I didn't like the panther. I have been a graphtec fan for years now. BUT, we bought a ce-5000 and as soon as I took it out...

  18. Laminator wanted

DO some research and you will get numerous viewpoints. We have a sp300v also and went with the Daige 55". I'm glad we did because now we are upgrading to the sp540v There are very mixed reviews on the Daige here on this forum but we have NO problems with it...especially for the price.
  19. Perf. window film how much charge?

yep, We charge $125 installed for a rear window non-laminated. It looks to me like you have basically 3 times that. We would be $375 installed non-laminated. Design work is always different depending on layout. We charge minimum design of $45 I agree with your additional $50 per window...
