Any laptop at that price will be "ok" not great. I've had many toshiba's in the past and liked them. But I just got a dell about a week ago and it is "great"! Spent about $750 for a 15" Duo Core with 2 gigs memory and love it so far.

I did NOT care for the cheaper Graphtec. There is no doubt in my mind or in my recommendation that I'd take the fc7000 over any other cutter.

You can find a syringe and remove the line at the pump and pull ink through if there are air pockets in the lines. If the ink is in the lines with no air pockets then you can try the capping station trick that cdiesel suggested. I have done that with great success. I think you may want to...

My cleaning cartridges also say sol-ink. All versacamms are eco-solvent ink as far as I know.

Exactly what mediaman said! Ink jet heads don't touch the media like a pc 60 or 600. Don't compare to thermal...you will love this machine if you keep it maintained and clean! Stay patient - a lot of learning curve but well worth it.

I've had a few dells in the past...all were great but one. I think it had a processor problem that never got resolved. Now I have two toshiba laptops with intel and they are ok. 3 compaq desktops with athlon processors and they are awesome.
