one more thing to check is that the blade holder is secure in the blade carriage and isn't loose to move around during the cut,...check the blade holder for tiny scraps of vinyl around the tip of the blade that might hinder free swivel movement,...they get stuck in there when cutting small...

if you replaced the blade read up in the manual about blade offset settings,...the offset is the difference between dead center axis of a swivel blade and the tip,....the machine allows for an offset to compensate for the difference to complete cuts with a tangential trailing swivel knife...

Don't want to rain on anyone's parade here but the technical specs for that plotter say you can use either a usb connector cable or an rs-232c which is a null modem serial cable,...no where in the specs does it say anything about a parallel cable interface,...

do not plug the plotter in unless it is powered on first or windows may list it as an unknown usb device without it's proper driver

I foresee a business model very similar to cellular phone sales model,..where they sucker you in with a cheap service ,then as you become accustom to it and increase your usage they start tacking on surcharges, to where that nominal monthly fee becomes outrageously more expensive and lucrative...
