Try cleaning can greasing the rail that the wiper slides on. Then clean the wiper sensor. If that doesn't work, change the sensor, then the motor, then the maintenance PCB in that order. One of those items should fix the issue.

CJV150s don't allow networking. You have to use the USB. Make sure you install the Mimaki USB driver first and then it should work.

The Vj1324 on older firmware versions can accept a 440 cartridge but it has issues like not emptying the whole cartridge. It doesn't stop at 220 but it does have issues emptying the whole thing. VJ1324s on the current firmware will reject 440 cartridges.
