Post a picture of it and maybe we can see if something is wrong. That's the easiest way.
  2. xerox 8254e

Was it printing red well before? If yes then it could be the damper for sure. What does your nozzle check look like?
  3. Need Help Mutoh Vj 628 eco solvent issue

Looks like the head is out of alignment for sure but the spray is a sign that you either have deflecting nozzles or the head is failing. What does your nozzle check look like?
  4. Hp latex 365 Issues and questions

I've done deals like this. The guy is in Trinidad and most likely no tech to train him on the island. Usually these guys buy the machine and are offered training at a higher cost but decline because it's cost prohibitive. They should be offering phone support though for sure.
  5. Grey/ gradient issue

Here is a note from the InDesign gradient help page. "When you create a gradient using colors of different modes and then print or color separate the gradient, all colors are converted to CMYK process colors. Because of the color mode change, colors may shift. For best results, specify...
  6. Grey/ gradient issue

This part doesn't quite jive. The RGB color space doesn't have a black channel and white would be 100% of each RGB not 0%K. I'm not sure if that is the problem but it just jumped out at me. I agree with ColorCrest that you should see if a gradient you make as you normally do prints OK or not OK...
  7. Need Help What Causes This?

Did you change the head recently? It looks like it's majorly out of alignment.
  8. Need Help can i change the ink of my machine ? jfx200 2513

If anything I would just change over to the LUS150 inks. All of my customer use that ink set and it works fine.
  9. Manual for SP-540V Ink Pump Upgrade/Conversion?

The new style pumps are more reliable. I have yet to see one fail. The difference is the old pump has two separate channels.where the new style has only one. So on your SP540 the cap tubes would connect to a Y connector and then the pump rather than each connecting to the different channels of...
  10. 32" Print Cut Recommendations

The only printer/cutter you are going to find around that price is a used Roland SP300 or maybe a Mimaki CJV30.
  11. Need Help wiper error 46 on mimaki cjv130

Try cleaning can greasing the rail that the wiper slides on. Then clean the wiper sensor. If that doesn't work, change the sensor, then the motor, then the maintenance PCB in that order. One of those items should fix the issue.
  12. Discussion Roland Soljet Pro4 Head Issues

The XR640 is a dual headed machine with mirrored heads. I have never tried this on a Roland before but the dual headed Mutohs all allow you to turn one head off and run just one head. It's usually a setting in the RIP but sometimes it is a setting in the printer itself. You would still be...
  13. Why does valuejet printer say ink is out when cart seems 1/3 full?

It looks like the latest version is 3.05 according to my info. I usually don't recommend bulk systems unless you really use the ink. If you don't use a lot then I would stick with the 220 cartridges. That being said, if you do decide to go with the bulk system, Mutoh's system is pretty reliable...
  14. help this new mimaki is driving me nuts

CJV150s don't allow networking. You have to use the USB. Make sure you install the Mimaki USB driver first and then it should work.
  15. picture of my work

The first thing I thought when I saw this post was, 'That poor poor soul. He doesn't even know what's coming."
  16. Need Help Can you still cut after running out of media?

If you didn't use registration marks it will be near impossible to go back. If you did use registration marks you can totally save it. Tape a few feet of scrap vinyl or even just backer to the end of your print so that when it goes to cut the pinch rollers have something to grab on to. Then just...
  17. Why does valuejet printer say ink is out when cart seems 1/3 full?

The Vj1324 on older firmware versions can accept a 440 cartridge but it has issues like not emptying the whole cartridge. It doesn't stop at 220 but it does have issues emptying the whole thing. VJ1324s on the current firmware will reject 440 cartridges.
  18. UCJV300 Date change

Here is their sales email. They might not sell direct to the customer but they should be able to point you to a dealer that can help you out. salesusa@c-m-y-k.com
  19. Why does valuejet printer say ink is out when cart seems 1/3 full?

These machines only guess at how much ink is being used. The smart card on the cartridge is programed with the size of the cartridge. When the printer prints and cleans, it subtracts a specific amount off the card based on how much the machine thinks you used. The machine will flag the cartridge...
  20. Question margins between posters

You don't want to cut posters on the Graphtec for a couple reasons. The least important problem is simply the blade and cut strip are going to deteriorate super fast. The most important problem is, when the posters get cut out and fall off, the paper will lose stability, crumple up and jam the...
