With UV the white is a lot more manageable. The UCJV300 has a true re-circulation route that doesn't just agitate but actually moves the ink around the system. On solvent printers with white even with circulation routes they would clog a lot. I have a UCJV300 demo model in the warehouse that we...
The colors you chose are RGB and I bet your printer prints in the CMYK color space. Set your document color space to CMYK and find a color that works in that space. Should print more accurately. At the end of the day, you are used to Web design which is much easier to handle color. Once you go...
They are $26 per roller from Mutoh if you go through a dealer which is way over priced if you ask me. I have heard of people calling Mutoh and getting a better deal if you buy all at once though.
Basically if it's clean and still prints like that then you probably should just replace it. When encoders get really dirty it can damage the encoder lines but can be hard to see. Obvious signs of damage are any creases or physical cracks etc. But sometimes they can just be bad and you can't...
That's a common scam site from Indonesia. There are a bunch of them and they all look a little different but I'm pretty sure they are the same people. If you search on Signs101, anyone who ever buys a print head from an Indonesian website gets scammed.
Unfortunately Versaworks won't let you setup a printer from another brand. You could get Flexi or equivalent RIP that allows you to use any brand or maybe even just find a better cutting software for the Roland that has the features you are looking for..
Your print heads are simply not firing properly so you aren't going to be able to align them in this state. Something is electrically bad in the system and I would suspect the main board. Your test print should look like the picture below even when they are out of alignment.
As you can see...
You have a short in the print head circuit. Usually it's a damaged or dirty print head cable. That's usually where I start. If the cable has any damage at all I would replace it. If it's dirty sometimes you can clean it but I recommend just getting a new one in this case as it's usually the...
The issue you describe is a disconnect between rendering intents. You need to go into the color settings and change the rendering intents for raster and vector to be the same. That will get rid of the ghost boxes around the images.
I'm thinking maybe when you first installed the RIP you might have had to make a Firewall exception for it in Windows Firewall. When you reinstalled it maybe that reset? Just the first thing that came to mind.
That's a coding issue in the program itself or you are trying to do something that they didn't intend for you to do in the program. It's trying to convert a Double variable into an Integer but I am assuming the Double is too large to be treated as an integer. In other words, only Estimate can...
You have a picture of the nozzle check and pallet? Which order are the colors on the nozzle check? I'm thinking maybe the colors didn't get put back in the right place.
As far as I know there are no differences. According to Roland, Mutoh and Mimaki the head rank isn't a serial number but a voltage adjustment. I've always though it was a serial number though.
All DX4 print heads are exactly the same. All current model heads are manufactured in Japan. The DX4 is old enough though that it might have been manufactured in China at one point though. At the end of the day all DX4 heads are manufactured by Epson at the exact same standard so there is no...
There are two types of pumps that can be used in the Sp-300 and the one you picture is the old style. There is also a newer style one that only has 1 intake and output see below. Also, be careful with the white tube pumps. Some are not solvent resistant. If the tubes are clear they are solvent...
The Mimakis do it too but their wiper mechanism is designed in a way that if the head hits the wiper it can slide by without jamming. The only way too turn it off would be to turn auto cleanings off. Not sure if that is possible on that model though.
I don't have a ton of experience with that printer but I know for sure it wipes the heads when it does periodic cleanings. If the wiper didn't get out of the way and the heads hit it, that would cause the machine to either error out and/or just freeze to protect the heads. I would look at the...
